We take that thing on vacation with us, but that’s when the wife is with me. If I take that thing out of the house without my wife there might be some counseling in my future

Hey, we like road trips. Plus I grew up in Chicago. But with this winter, I hope mid-April isn’t too risky to drive.

 I'm from Detroit and I understand why you would ask. Metro Chicago like Metro Detroit are large areas. There are many nice areas and surrounding cities and other areas one must watch their back at night! As stated, Schaumburg is a nice and is in the NW burbs....not far from some wealthy neighborhoods where some of the 1-2% live. Most at the show are average Joe types but some of the 1-5% will be there. They will be the ones that will get the rep to hush the room so they can get a good demo of the $229K Magico Q7 Mk II speakers. Yep, that actually happened. :)

    https://www.homesnacks.net/richest-places-in-illinois-126055/

Thus the reason AXPONA is in the Chi burbs!
