I'm warming up the Tubes. The Quicksilver has been on for 30 minutes. It did its usual arc from the caps to the rectifiers after ~15seconds.

I have a theory about that; however, if you have a cheaper solution please start a thread.;)

I think the caps need replaced in the Quicksilver. I believe grainy sound is easily fixed by better tubes:cool:

I hope the first quarter bonus is good:else:i get no upgrades

    Twin

    I'm thinking Frampton BTW

and never hesitate to correct my spelling...

Ok, I've heard enough about Dream Theater. I just looked them up on Real Rhapsody, and I listened to a few of their songs. When they quit singing and have some cool guitar solo or something, it's not half bad! lol

Sting - The Dream Of The Blue Turtles. He has a fine group of jazz musicians backing him on this one. Much of it is Sting's typical eco/political/anti themes, which is fine since that is part of the foundation of rock and roll (along with sex, booze and drugs). And even if you don't care for the political BS and can get past that, it is still a pretty good album.
