i slept on thsi CD for about 8 months as with the Beatles' white album because they both remind me of the worst week of my life. but it's awesome to look past it and appreciate the work for what it is.

Delaney and Bonnie and Friends - "D & B Together"

Quite a list of "friends": Clapton, Dave Mason, King Curtis, Rita Coolidge, Leon Russell, Billy Preston, Duane Allman, John Hartford, Eddie Kendricks, Tina Turner... and more...

Unopened buy from couple of years ago (came out of the old RnR Reminiscing threads) that got set aside. I think F1 rec'd "Delaney and Bonnie with Eric Clapton" and I grabbed this one by mistake cause I saw Clapton played on it.

But know what... it ain't bad... Kinda in that little known "rockin' - bluesy - country - gospel" fusion genre'.

I've been listening to a lot of Eric Clapton lately. Hmm, I only have two of his CDs; let me re-word that. I've been listening to Eric Clapton a lot lately. 'Unplugged' is great! It's the first I ever heard of him. The I bought 'Cream' (I think it is). It was so different from 'Unplugged' that I put it away and didn't listen to it. I just recently got it out and it has some cool stuff on it I've never heard before. I love 'Wonderful Tonight!'

Beethoven's 9th performed by the Philly Orchestra on a MINT Columbia Masterworks pressing circa 1973. FABULOUS

Gershwin's Concerto in F performed my Eugene List and the Eastman-Rochester Orchestra on a MINT Mercury Living Presence album cira mid-1960's. This is sheer joy. This, friends, is what this hobby is all about.

Creedence Clearwater Revival Box Set on the Spendors, which I didn't think would work well with rock music. Six remastered CDs for $35.94 at Yourmusic.com rather than $99.98 list. John Fogerty set out to make great American rock music that would last through different trends. It's still working 35 years later.
