    Billy Joel - Storm Front

    41UPJ34ZCkL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

I like his music, but I still will never figure out how an ugly guy like him managed to hook up with Christy Brinkley in the first place...then managed to let her get away.

    DUMBASS!

Yeah...I know...not a current photo...but she is still a babe in recent photos!

I agree. Very pleasant voice to listen too.

Rick Wakeman - Rick Wakeman's Criminal Record (LP)

    41OVxatgOeL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Taking time off from Yes...Wakeman shows off his considerable keyboard talent...on a Moog synthesizer, electric piano, grand piano and pipe organ. The outstanding track is the last one, Judas Iscariot, played on a church pipe organ blended with the Moog synthesizer. A very good album.

Allman Brothers - The Fillmore Concerts

1992 release compiled from 5 of the 1971 concerts at Fillmore East. The insert says it was remixed on original type equipment then transferred to digital. I've never heard the original 1971 album but this one sounds good.

One of my favorite albums...period. It is underated and overlooked because folks think "One Of Us" is too pop...probably because of the video.

A great album from start to finish IMO.

Joe Walsh - You Bought It - You Name It (LP)

    51JSAWV08KL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

I've got the Joe Walsh Anthology "Look What I Did" on CD that has several tracks from this album: "Theme From Island Weirdos", "I Can Play This Rock & Roll", "I.L.B.T.'s" and "Space Age Whiz Kids". I just recently picked up this LP (just the original 1983 pressing) and will say this is an excellent recording...and soncially superior to the CD. I was suprised how good this album sounds.

i dug this one out after a long long shelving...very good on the sda's! st teresa has some very tasty and subtle guitar lines...spider web and right hand man are great...sometimes her voice is tough to take - ala sheryl crow..other times she's got some real chops..maybe i'll investigate some of her new stuff

Check out "How Sweet It Is"...basically and album of 60s and 70s R&B covers. Because of her work on this album, she was part of a docu/movie/concert DVD about the Funk Brothers..."Standing in the Shadows of Motown"....she was fantastic (great DVD as well). R&B suits her.
