I like the taste of foot in mouth myself.....

But this whole thread has been a bit wonky and with the bait and switch by PFB regarding the purchase details...

But if tony says it happened.... well unless tony got the wrong info, I am inclined to believe him......

Put me in the "still skeptical" corner.

It seems like he is conducting a class experiment when he posts (in this thread and others) such obviously stupid things like racing from one stop light to another in a Porsche Boxter, putting it through a car wash, weaving in and out of traffic in Fargo on the interstate (how much traffic is there on a Sunday night in Fargo on either interstate?). Or, that he hasn't had a drivers license because of the accident with his dad and how that traumatized him so now he wants to go balls-to-the walls when he gets his first car? Really?

Either he is the biggest fool I have ever met (and that would take some doing), or he is taking everyone else for fools.

All I can confirm is that PFB did send me the Ebay listing. Can't confirm however that it's his car, only he can do that. He's posted pics of his gear before, so we know posting pics of the car is not beyond his means. We shall see.....

Yup, as are all well aware.

Proof is in the pudding... and I like dessert myself

The real question is what type of speaker wire he will install in the car and how long it will take to break in.

    PFB,
Rule no.1 has already been broken. Don't take a convertible to those automatic car washes.....or in short order you'll find out how expensive it is to replace that top.

I just read the manual and it said to never take the car through a car wash. The car wash I went to did not touch the car but the manual did state that the water coming in the car is because those conditions would never happen normally and the convertible mechanism is not designed to withstand such conditions

I did get my wife to snap a few pics last night but they were crappy. I just got in the door and have it parked outside and the neighbors will know its my new car so if I went out there right now and started taking pics with a camera I would feel like a ****. I have to go back out and go fly on the interstate but I will park it in the garage and snap pics.

Guys I love this car ... omfg I just love driving it around, turning corners and listening to the engine when I start it up. I am so happy, the cars running good and its in perfect condition and that I never got robbed out of my cash. I really did take a big chance and I am glad it pay'd off like it has.

...so if I went out there right now and started taking pics with a camera I would feel like a ****...

Wait, I thought that was what you were really aiming for:

...I now like driving after avoiding it for years and want a car that says " Hi, I am a **** bag"...

I still think the tattoo on the forehead would have been more effective ;)
