You just made me think of something else, if they offer upgradable PC's why would'nt the other HIGHEND gear guys do the same so they can make $ of that sale as well??

This is indisputable high end gear. Just watch the video and see the amount of PC's going into the rig. They are manufactured, sold and featured in the very system you are about to see.

    [if you actually watch it]

[EDIT:] I'll save you some time. Go ahead and skip to 56 seconds into the video to see what Gary sells. That's just for the sub array. One of them.

So what does Passlabs and Burmester have to say then, are you going to tell me they recommending to their customers to buy an aftermarket PC to power their $$$$ Amp?

You have ZERO experience with these amplifiers, yet you claim to know as fact. Unlike you I have spent many hours with both brands including the very top model Burmester 911mk3 and PassLabs x200.5. A sponge has fewer holes than your statement.

Educate the uneducated???? You're the one with only one passing experience in a showroom. Then there is the website list you posted in #81, where only the last one had any sort of useful debate information. Several of us have asked you to at least experience it in your own home over a one-month period. Yet finally, in this latest post you reveal the truth about your agenda in your first sentence.

Folks who own Burmester don't need to be told. They know.

And yes the after market world exists for everything, but I guess on the Polk Forum, there's no such thing as Snake Oil..
And I see I'm starting to wear some down..
I wonder if I called Panasonic and ordered a replacement PC for my 65" VT series how much it would be?
I'm willing to bet it would cost more than a $50-150 after market cable..

Your educating us alright!! But not how you think, and most of us learned this many posts ago..

as an engineer, I fought the upgrade bug for a while pertaining to power cords, but I at least think I hear a difference with my aragon 4004 when I switched to a PS audio cable.

    Hello,
I sometimes am at a loss when dealing with contentious threads. If they are closed too soon I'm afraid of stifling genuine back-and-forth conversation. If they stay around too long people tend to escalate their level of hostility.
    There's no easy answer.
    Regards, Ken

Shutting them down consistently will lead to genuine back and forth down the road. Gotta keep the house in order.

Umm, no I'm not. Usually people on your level, general lack of any kind of experience. Unwilling to try out new things for yourself. Believe everything you read on the internet....ala that Car Insurance commercial lol. People like you tend to think Roger Russell is an audio God. That is why I asked.

Pot, meet the Kettle Black. Look man, I gave you as simple a test as you could try. You said that you would try it. You lied and changed your mind. You said that you were done with this thread.....multiple times. You lied and changed your mind. You asked questions, they were answered. Both scientifically and otherwise with some good, solid advice. Yet, you remain spewing things that nobody here has observed themselves just based off of real experiences. You are a troll, nothing more, nothing less.

I actually genuinely tried to let you learn on your own, without influence and be enlightened. You accepted and without trying, you resorted back to your normal mantra. On an audio board, by any definition, that is a troll. Have a good life.

I think a talk with your mommy is more to the point. Does she know you're up this late on the computer talking with strangers and making a fool out of yourself? I'm sure she'd be very proud.

Let me get serious here for a second. The fact that you just said I have nothing to contribute is testament enough to your level of ignorance.
