Hard to tell with out the grills off or seeing the backs. Regardless even if they were 2's or 2.3's in decent shape that is still a hell-of-a deal!! I feel your pain I too have missed some really good deals by minutes...... -
Were these 1.2?
They appear to me too short to be 1.2's, or maybe even 2.3's. I would guess SDA 2's, although I am unfamiliar with the non-TL SDA's.
-
Yep! Here is the sizing pic.....
1.2, 2.3 and 2

Here's a better sizing picture for you.

haha Yeah, I went just a little crazy buying SDAs a few years back... -
@EndersShadow - Don't encourage me! haha
@FestYboy - A set of 2's haven't shown up in my area, otherwise they'd probably be in the collection already. -
You Know when people are selling some of these SDA's at ridiculously low prices (considering how much they were new and the fact you can't buy the same quality today without spending some real cash).
You can't Not! buy them.......

@audio_alan,
Let me guess that's like a 60" TV in the background?? Right? Looks like a computer monitor next to the monsters..... -

@audio_alan,

It was a 46" TV, back when TVs still had a 2-3" border all the way around. I had to upgrade to a 65" so the TV doesn't look so small in comparison. haha -
I don't see a pair of 3.1's in that collection!
I've always wanted to hear a set of 3.1s, since the bass woofer is actually a driver instead of a passive.
Regarding SDA 2's, if they come around and the price is right... -

Are those active drivers??? I thought it was just a different passive design like Advent used. -
About a month ago a pair of 3.1tl's and a pair of 1.2tl's came to market in my area (which never happens by the way!!!)
Unfortunately I could not rope buying both so I had to make a painful decision. 3.1's or 1.2's?? (I had neither at that point). Well I decided on the 1.2's..... Hope I made the right decision?
I would like to eventually add a set of 3.1's, CRS's and a pair of SDA 2's to my collection. Then I would be happy for at least a couple of weeks..... LOL! -
Yes, pitdogg2, the 3.1s were the only SDA model (to my knowledge) that had a real bass driver (non-passive).
hahaha Kmeek, you sound like me. Except I would have bought them both. LOL
But to get back on topic....

This is correct. Look at the M12... Same design passive. -
