Man O War is that band still around? WOW.

Yup. New album coming next month. I saw them live back in 2006. They brought their own speakers for the concert. They said the house sound system can't handle the power of Manowar lol.

Well, that album cover was from 1987. So it did look pretty tough back then lol.
Also, let's not forget. The whole tight leather thing which is the trademark look for metal was started by a **** man (Rob Halford of Judas Priest) which he had taken from the **** S&M scene.

I gave seperates a whirl, for a year of test listening to different set-ups. They did NOTHING for me. I like the sound I get from my SC-05. It works well with my STS's.
I would never make the claim, as a matter of fact, otherwise. That's just how I HEAR IT!
If the 'seperate-ist' want to look down their elitest noses, fine by me.

I own several recievers non avr's and a couple of avrs not to metion a few integrated amps which do a fine job of two channel reproduction. The avrs not as much, but the other ones do just fine. I finally got some SDA's two pair of CRs+s and have them hooked up temporary to one of my integrateds and they sound great, however I'am saving money for some seperates to power my CRS+s and will ask advice on which seperates that all of you recomend for those once I save some more coin. I cant wait for that time to come but, right now I'am enjoying what I got.

I have been looking at a Belles preamp to go with the Belles one amp, just wondering if their will be a improvement over a nad t743 receiver for two channel?Every step seems to be a little better. What do you guys think?

I looked back at that Man O War cover -- and then had to double-check that they weren't spelling out Y-M-C-A. First glances can be deceiving.

It's worth a shot to hear for yourself. My NAD T765 is remaining in my system after I did a head to head with a Conrad Johnson PV14L tube pre & a Krell 250a SS pre, both with the HT bypass feature. The NAD design team really takes music seriously & it shows.

Belles makes some nice musical pre's for 2 channel, would be worth a look see for a deal here and there. Definately don't count out other contenders either. Just like there's a difference between a 400 buck avr and a 2000 buck one, the same holds true in pre amps, they get better as you move up the chain. How much better, only your ears can judge. I think a tubed pre may be up your alley like a used Dared sl2000, to go along with that belles amp. Just my opinion of coarse.

Not a big fan of integrated amp-tuner/receivers for serious hifi, but there have been plenty of good options over the decades since the integrated hifi amp and tuner format as we know it was introduced by harman/kardon in the mid 1950s. A smattering of respectable options...
