Yes it is, If and when I get them in, I went ahead and put you on the list.

I got the boards in but cosmetically they aren't up to my standards (see link) and I'm trying to send the current batch back for a refund. In the mean time I'm trying a new supplier so it may be awhile before I have any.

Thanks. And no worries. I have been following your progress and troubles you've had. I just recently came into a situation where I will need a set of your boards. :) I'm still sourcing out parts needed. I've checked your site so I believe I'm set as far as what I all need to get down the road.

Yes, Tony, I do believe you're right. . . SDA 2B Studios . . Somehow there's always been a bit of confusion with this issue. The original lit that came with the SDA's states the Stereo driver is MW6510 and the Dimensional is MW6511 . . . I'll tear into it this week and get back with you. But if I pull a 23 yr old driver, I may as well replace it . . . Which RDO do you recommend?
    Thanks!

I recently acquired a pair of SDA 2b studios. I apologize for my ignorance, but it appears this would work for my speakers. If so, I would like a set if its not too late. Thanks much.

Well guys I went all the way to the top. Called the CEO and talked to him yesterday afternoon and his answer was no refund or remake because and I quote "the boards are functionally correct and the cosmetic issues are within industry standards also once populated for the most part the cosmetic issues would not be visible". Now for the most part this is true and I think most of you wouldn't even notice but that's not the point is it.

So this is what I'm thinking of doing, Because the boards are functionally correct and the cosmetic issues will have no affect on there function I'm going to sort the boards into 2 groups, ones that I'll sell and ones that I may karma at a later date.

I've also ordered a pair of boards from a company down under as a test where I clearly stated that they need to be functionally and cosmetically perfect and what I mean by perfect. They assured me that they could do the job, These board are suppose to ship on the 19th and hopefully be here by next weekend.

Anyway I would appreciate any ideas, comments or suggestions that you guys may have.

I'm interested in a pair of the "reduced price" units. Awaiting price and availability. Again, I don't own a pair of speakers that these would fit...but maybe someday.

Tony I'm interested in ones that meet your standards (full price) or ones that have minor cosmetic blemishes (reduced price) if nothing else is available.

My take.......they are what they are, it's not Tony's fault they may not be cosmetically perfect and besides from what I've seen once the components are installed, no one will ever know about any insignificant cosmetic issue. Tony has gone out of his way doing this for the collective and I don't think it's right that he takes a hit. I believe the cost was $100.00 for a pair of boards and I think that's what should be paid by those that committed to buying them. After all, you all did beg him for another run.

I'll take 2 pairs at full price without regard to cosmetics. Not a big deal to me as long as they're legible and functional.

Thanks a million for your hard work in making this happen.

Tony, as long as they're functional and legible I'm in. I agree with F1nut, we asked you to do this so you shouldn't take the financial hit. Once they're populated and inside the cabinet you can't see'em anyway.

I am in for a blemished board for my 1C project. If they are fully functional I could care less if they are not asthetically perfect. They will be inside the cabinet anyway.
I have already upgraded the tweeters and when I sell my "spare" pair of 1C's I will have enough to buy the caps. Thanks.

Honestly it makes no difference to me. If it's functional then great. This will be my first major project so some cosmetics are mute to me.

With saying that, I can see as can many others the hard work and dedication you put into this to ensure that quality exceeds even the basic expectations and that's great to see. Not many places or people give a hoot.

I am willing to buy the worst cosmetic piece you have as I am after the performance of this mod, not the appearance. Regardless, I'm still on board.

    Tony,

I'm still in for full price. You shouldn't eat the cost, but thanks for caring enough to ensure the quality is first-rate. You've been a stand-up guy...helping me in the past (id'ing my dual 1C XO parts) and providing the excellent boards I have in my 1C's and 1.2tl's. You say the current boards are 100% functional and I have no problem continuing with this purchase!

    Hey guys,
Just wanted to comment that Tony sent me a set of his "KARMA" boards...

Tony is just OCD - those things look great and are far superior to any PCB I have worked with..

    Purchase these with confidence!

    Tony,

PP sent and replied to PM. I'm visiting your neck of the woods for the next month. I can swing by and pick up the boards if it'll save you the time/effort shipping them. I met Larry a few weeks ago...would be cool to put another face to the cool upgrades I've been fortunate enough to accomplish because of fellow Polkies. Either way...as always...thanks!

John sounds like it could be fun but I don't think anyone's going to want to be around me for the next couple weeks as I'm going to try quitting smoking (again:redface:) and tomorrow is my quit date. Your boards are going out in the morning along with everyone else.

Because these boards won't work for the SDA 1B's period.
