If anything, he should jack the price up considering the effort put into and the quality of these boards. Like they say, "Try and find another one.">

Put up some pics of your installations. When I look at my old board with the twisted, piggy backed, bended, squeezed components. I just wonder that it still worked. The new boards are so nice to work with. Even the soldering looks nicer.: One done last night. One more to go. Once again BIG Thanks to Tony!!!HT/2 CH

A Refresher if you will.
These boards were designed to use bigger Caps & Resistors like Sonicap & Mills and work for the following SDA's with a single board crossover and a Pin/Blade IC cable.
SDA 2B (1987 Blade/Blade IC with single board crossover)
SDA 2B/CRS+ (Pin/Blade IC)
SDA 1C
SDA SRS 2 (1987 Pin/Blade IC with single board crossover)
SDA SRS 3.1TL
SDA SRS 2.3
SDA SRS 2.3TL
SDA SRS 1.2
SDA SRS 1.2TL
Now there are somethings you need to be aware of.
First: Mounting (This only affects the SDA SRS 1.2/TL and the CRS+).
Because of the size of the new boards (10" x 5 1/4" vs 5 3/4" x 4 1/4") the only place I can think of to mount them in the CRS+'s is on the bottom of the enclosure and extend the leads (P & R) up to the big 16mH inductor. Now that brings us to the SDA SRS 1.2's, I might suggest that you could mount the board on the crossover plate plug everything in and then slide the top in at an angle then move the whole assembly up so you can slip the bottom in and then bolt in place (it should be able to fit through the cabinet opening measuring 4-3/4" high by 14-3/16" wide) and if that doesn't work you could mount the bare crossover plate first then slide the assembled crossover through the hole for the PR and then bolt in place.
Second: Let me ensure you that these boards are electrically identical to the originals with two exceptions, there is no place for the 750pF Silver Mica bypass cap(C4) for C3 it's not needed with the newer/better cap's you can buy today and nobody uses it anyway also I added a jumper (J4) for the Non-TL 2.3's & 1.2's to make things a little easier.
Ordering & Shipping:
1. Cost $100.00 a Pair including shipping and PayPal fees.
2. These boards will be for Club Polk members ONLY!.
3. Payment will be by PayPal (NOT as a gift please) or USPS money order.
4. Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail.
5. Just PM me your order and we'll go from there. Also once you put solder to these THEY ARE YOURS

Question??? I am working on my CRS+ speakers (I know it's been awhile) any ways I was wondering about the 40uf cap, putting it on the board with two 20uf's would this not be putting them in a chain?? would it not be better to piggy back them?? or am I just over thinking this??Polk Audio SDA 2.3tl Fully Hot Rodded. 😎

I take it you mean replacing the 40uF Cap with two 20uF Cap's, It's ether a single 40uF Cap or two 20uF Cap's in parallel not both . If your using the stock boards boards yes you need to piggy back them, If your using my boards just put one 20uF Cap in the C2-A position and one 20uF Cap in the C2-B position the piggy backing is done within the board its self, also if your using one 40uF Cap instead of two 20uF Caps you would put the 40uF Cap in the C2-A or the C2-B position and leave the other one blank (i.e, 40uF at C2-A leave C2-B blank).
Hope this helps.
Also these boards will be going back up for sale just as soon as I get the shipping supply's I ordered.“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain -
I am finding that someone using these boards in the CRS+'s will have to mount the crossover board somewhere else in the cabinet, you will not be able to mount it to the 16mh inductor like it was. Not a big deal to me as I will mount it to the bottom of the cabinet.
I am taking a set of CRS's (1986) and converting them to a CRS+ (1990) 4.1tl
I am taking pictures and I will post a full thread when completed.
Gimpods Boards
Cardas binding posts
Sonicaps
Dueland 2.7 resistors
My rings (including a ring for the binding post cup)
and of course the custom stands I built for them..
I found a set of crossovers on ebay for the 2B's/CRS+'s a few months ago, gutting them for the inductors.
More later,Thanks again Tony!!!Polk Audio SDA 2.3tl Fully Hot Rodded. 😎

Larry - I was thinking when I was doing my 1C's that a ring for the binding post cup would have been cool. Got any of those floating around? Sorry for crapping your thread, Tony, but Larry started itGood music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Shameless plug alert.
Some quotes from those who have bought:gimpod(Anthony) sent me a pair of boards for the SDA CRS+ to check out....evaluate I guess and I have to say without question, he's doing outstanding work. The boards are setup very nicely and clearly have had a lot of thought and preparation put into them. The actual traces appear to be well done, since they are sealed properly and the labels are crisp and easy to read.
This is a must do upgrade for anyone serious about bringing their vintage Polk loudspeakers to the next level. This opinion is not a company endorsement, just one from someone who knows a lot about Polk Audio and I've been involved behind the scenes for many years. Coupled with the well documented posts from our active, crazy about all things Polk, users....I think you get the idea.
A+

These boards are of the highest quality and make SDA crossover modifications easy. Especially for the big SDAs. These boards are just that my friend, simply perfect. Your efforts to make them of a quality that rivals the original manufacturer shows in every way. It cannot be said enough... Well Done!:cool:On3s&Z3r0s wrote: »Just thought I'd post up a couple of pics of what the boards look like after assembly for 2B TLs. The boards themselves are a godsend (if Tony isn't a Polk God, he's at least the Pope of Polk ), but the website (gimpod.com) just takes all the guesswork out of it. The parts placement flyover graphic is cool, but the schematics go way above and beyond in calling out parts placement as well. So, when all is said and done, here's what they look like. Please don't tell me if I installed my caps backwards... too late to turn back now.“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain -
