    . Ok will do I'm just going to wait a week or two before I send them ....thank you so much ......I will drop you a pm a few days before I send .....I know you probably don't want to. Do this but I have absolutely no idea what this would actually cost and I'm perfectly fine with you needing the crossovers before you can give me a price .......but is there anyway you could give me a ballpark ......I will not hold you to it ......just looking for a rough idea

    Capacitors have about a 20 year shelf life before values change and they just start going bad...

    What I would tell ya -- if you modify them with good quality parts you will NOT be dissapointed.

    Mine is a fixed rating, I forget what it is... its pretty fool proof as long as you dont keep it on there to long

    I dont need clarity caps but I do want a high quality cap for my LSi25s, LSiC, and LSiFXs. What brand(s) do you recommend? And where can I find the schematics for the C and FX? I already have it for the LSi25.

    Clarity Cap ESA is awesome and not really that expensive. I understand it is 85% of the MR

    I would suspect that you would need to open it up and see what value the components in need of upgrade are. That way, you can look them up individually, add the quantity needed and then tally it up for a total.

    What would be a good 260uf cap to use? Does it make a huge difference if you have to mix in a cap from a different line or brand? I was thinking about doing everything I could with Clarity ESAs but they dont have a 260

    two 130 strapped together would work...

    Clarity PX -- even a Solen would work ok for that

    You might want to think twice about doing the RTi A7's or any of that line. There's no room on the stacked stock boards and there's no practical way to remote mount anything.

    Well rats, its not going to work as the parts are glued to the rear of the speaker..no way of taking them out "easily". Guess i will just deal with the classic sound

    just curious, are LSi9 mods on the table here? been considering it though not desperate as I love how they sound as is. though can't help what they will sound like "improved"

    Hmmmm I'm in australia so shipping would be a ****. but hey if theres gonna be a decent difference then yeah i really dont mind aye.

    But do you do crossover mods and what not for old polks (particularly old monitor series polks)?

    I think there is a problem with them (speakers sound all quiet now, drivers stuffed up at the same time too).

    A ballpark figure of the cost would be nice, but i understand it's not final until you'd get them.

    If your not happy to modify them for me, what would you suggest i get done to these, i have SOME electronic knowledge, just never ever touched speaker parts before in my life.
