Although then I would have to keep all the horndogs away from the fiance Sorry for the misunderstanding:redface: Would much rather spend that day listening to some tunes with some new friends than flying for 16 hours:frown:

Not sure it would make the trip in a cooler, it would probably melt unless someone lived closer.

One thing I've found at most PF's is critical listening to a plethora of gear just doesn't happen. It's a social event and while a lot of listening takes place for sure, it's not what I'd call iron clad critical. That said if something sounds really good or like ****, most people will pick up on that. Trying to critically compare several pieces to each other is difficult.

Eat, drink and be Merry and don't let John near the liquor cabinet :biggrin:

I am going to see if I could make it out there for this event. I was out in Florida (road trip from Dallas) about three weeks ago and spent a week there. Would be cool to meet everyone in person.

Since I live only about 40 minutes north of I-Drive, it'd be easy for me to bring source components/amps, but I doubt I have anything that would be considered critical listening equipment. I'd be driving to/from each day so I can take care of my dogs. Any particular plans for each day in case I prefer to be there for a certain event?

I've been holding out on modding my 1C crossovers, maybe I can bring the boards, upgrade parts & cash and I can see how it's done

As of what and when, I'm pretty open.... But think it will go this way, Friday play time, Saturday is Fun time when most things are setup and others like to hear this or that. I think you will enjoy both days, Sunday morning people will repack their equipment so they can trip back to their house.

soooooo....the pump is growing...like a bull moose in rut...going to the fest, fest, fest, going to the fest.....

I will bring some goodies from deep inside the Rabbit Hole, something a bit more ..esoteric than the ordain for ear-candy. Never know as my yang becomes my ying...with an Orlando Chicken Wing...going to the fest, fest, fest...yea baby PolkFest Rocks, nothing like it, cuz the Polkies bring Rain wherever they land.

As the polkus ermertius dynamic duo members smelly earth and lover of ****-gaskets may miss the gala this go, I will attempt at least to locate their appropriate glossy's for us to have fun with in most unusual manners.

I believe Big Lou has some left-over warm beer and stale beans from JerseyFest to add spice to the cuisine. As we know longer have official board polkies per say..(bummer) newbs should know these things are very much a celebration of all things Polk, as well as this club's members, much more a social gathering than stodgy listening session, you will enjoy yourself...meet old and new friends...and get a bit of insight into what makes Club Polk more than just an internet forum.

Its Polkfest...its a Party......and its coming soon.......
