    Here's the forumla: No sugar for about 5 days blood sugar running about 70, then jump it to 200. Add in sleep deprivation from the prednisone they have been giving me for 4 days. Add in the excitement of the wife's new job, not losing any of my insides, and being caged up in the same room for 5 day... and wallah

    Same results as crack :tongue::wink::wink::eek:

    I'd love a German Shepard myself, but I fell in love with a siberian husky instead. Here's a few pics of her and my pitbull. Pitbull stayed with me after the divorce, ex kept the husky.

    LOL, when we get a house we are gonna end up with probably 3 more, one for each kid we have eventually lol....

    GS are nice just make sure you keep folks away during feeding. They can be aggressive protecting food (work IT in a law office that defends homeowners claims and we see it sometimes)

    Freind has a Siberian Husky, really chill dog, just to big for his basement so he had to give him up. Pitbulls are cool but scare me since I got bit by one as a kid. Its a case by case basis if I like them.....

    I will say its eerie how dogs can pick up on emotions. When the wife and I get into it they always know who started it and give them the eye and go cuddle with the other...lol

    ill do my research before we get them.

    same thing happened to me as a kid with a pit.

    LOL about the eye part.

    LOL about the eye part.

    Like I said, it happens, but it does with other dogs too. The fun thing about Fox (the corgi in the first pic) is that he is a herding dog. So my wife's neice and some of her freinds tend to get herded by him when they come over...cracks me up to no end.

    All dogs can be aggressive, pit, german shepards, yorkie's, but some are more than others. You just need to train them early and compensate for that kinda stuff (i.e. feed in seperate closed off room).

    Dogs are so much better than cats IMO (lol, let the fight begin)

    I'd have to say that's generally true but with ALL dogs, not just GS (regarding their aggressive behavior while eating). It depends how you raise/train them.

    I know how that is, I've got a few people that are scared to death of my pitbull. But believe it or not, some of them have come around. My mom was deathly afraid of dogs in general, even more of pitbulls. Now she totally loves Jacquee and doesn't mind watching her if I need to go out for awhile.

    The only time my dog will attack or get on the defensive is if I'm arguing/mad at someone or a dog displays aggressive behavior. She's a good guard dog and very protective of me. Other than that, she's a teddy bear :tongue: she can give you a high five, "box" with you (she'll get on her hind legs and throw punches), sit, lay down, roll over, fetch and catch treats in mid-air. All of that taught by yours truely.
