Thanks. No clipped ears for this guy.

My boss has a albino boxer, pretty darn cute. Said that you didnt use to see em cause no one wanted em so you can figure out what happened to the puppies..:frown:

I am also not a fan of plastic surgery to dogs (which is how I view cropping ears, tails, etc). If it came that way, leave it (exception being spay and neuter your pets) unless its physically detrimental to the dog to do so.

yeah, but after what my dog went through just getting neutered (he doesnt clot well) I couldnt ever think about doing that kinda stuff to him. Because he would just look at me with the same unconditional love afterwards and I would remember all his yelps and feel horrible.

The clipped ears look great but he came like this and has a clipped tail. I'm not going to clip anything else (except his nards, can't get a license without neutering in CA). Sucks, I know.

He started dog training class this week and is a genius according to the trainer!

    I for one dont.....

On another related note, how awesome is it to get out of the hospital on Wends, go to work Thurs and then promptly get a stomach bug? LOL... Thank God thats all it was and I didnt have to go back to the ER.

Meet w/ the doc on wends to see what we are going to do moving forward.....

And the wife started one of her new jobs....which is going to hopefully free up some money in the near future for some of my upgrades (LSi fronts, LSiC center, maybe a better amp or a repair on my current one, and some car amps...). She owed me lots of cash before the wedding and rather than having her pay me back (which she couldnt) we agreed I have that much availible to spend on whatever I want and she cant nag me about it....but its all been theoretical at this point...lets see what happens when the rubber meets the road ;)

I havent heard them on anything really "good" yet. Fry's has them on a Onkyo 8xxx series reciever which really cant drive them that well. As such they sound quite similar to the RTi speakers they have as well.

I am hoping to find a local Polkie running them on a dedicated amp as I know thats what they really need to shine.

But the sound difference from what I hear from Monitor to RTi is 90% better and from RTI to LSI is ~10% better, but that extra 10% sometimes is what matters most :)

I sense some "Statements" in your future.

hehehe..trust me, its something that is on the radar for sure. I also would like to get a listen to some older vintage polks (SDA, LS, Old Monitor line) at some point since I have only heard the current LSi, RTi A and Monitor lines. The wife will soon be working Saturdays at her other new job so I will have some time to roadtrip around to listen to some locally.

The WAF factor isnt there on the old vintage stuff, but I do have an office that I have lots of control over what is in there, and since right now its just a 2 channel rig (at max it will be 2.1) I am looking for some sweet gear for mostly music. That and I am sure there are folks that can refinish w/ black vener if needed for a small price....

Heck after all the reading here I have been thinking about tubes for the office (but havent heard any tube gear yet)...

This hobby is super expensive, but I honestly with all the used gear flying around here can probably always score a deal that is posted (or not) pretty quick....
