I am sorry to hear what happened to you Joe. Prayers are sent your way brother. I also pray that the guilty guys get everything they deserve. I am just glad you are OK. I think that you not being able to reach the equalizer (due to the seatbelt) as you said saved your life. Those guys will get everything they deserve (in the short and/or long run).

Is your brain feeling OK? No concussion or anything, right? Or, is it just your jaw/lip(s)?

I do know one thing guys. Punks like that tend to be stupid enough to back to well again. I might be able to identify the one giving the girly shots (if I were to hit some one like that they would have spitting teeth though a broken jaw) if I were to see him again in daylight but there is no doubt in my mind they probably will be trying again when they see me or prey on some senior citizen which would really piss me off. God help them if they see my wife driving the same car and try some crap with her!!!! GRRRRRRR!

Joe, not for nothing, but why didn't you call the cops right away? Seems like they could have at least responded quicker and maybe had a better chance of catching the crooks. I know you were probably shaken up and pissed, but that would have been the first thing I would have done.

That being said, heal quickly and best wishes.

I don't know about that Shawn. I only live 30 seconds from the shopping center and it felt like my lip had been severed so I went home first to make sure I wasn't really eff'd up. I'll bet a minute and half didn't go by before my wife called 911.

BTW I checked out the area right before I went to bed and it was swarming with cops with cars pulled over people stopped on the street and they were even combing that small section of wooded area I spoke.

A different situation then yours happened to me back when i was an assistant manager of a fast food chaing, we had closed and one of our cooks went out with the trash and got jumped on the way back in. They told me to open the safe and I tried the combination and it didn't work. I said so to them, one of the guys put a gun in my neck and said "try again"..it worked, they got the $ and we got the freezer. After we got out the cleaning girls up front did not even know anything happened!

I was going to say "that suck's" but that go's way beyond sucking this kind of crap just piss's me off big time. I remember as a kid you could leave your doors unlocked, keys in your car or go for a stroll through the park at midnight without a care in the world. Boy we sure have come a long way as a society haven't we. The good thing is that your ok for the most part just keep it that way.

Damn sad to hear this Joe. Just at a lost for words that people would go to this extreme for a little coin. When I'm in the USA, I always have my firearm in the vehicle. Get yourself a nice 9mm Glock and let it work for you. Just glad your ok bro, the pain will go away hopefully sooner than later. Go easy out there.

Really sorry to hear that man. Like you said, dipshytes like that tend to hit the same spot over and over. It's pretty likely they'll get caught before too long. Might even be worth hanging out across the street with a camera to see what you can see.

i'm glad that you came out somewhat okay. but this kind of story really brings anger to me. i really hope these kinds of scumbags will be brought to justice the soonest possible.

but a part of me also thinks that it's good that the criminals at least didn't kill the victim. because then there will be no going back for them. once they killed, they most likely can do it again.
