Quality banana plugs or spades are the way to go. Anything bad you heard about banana plugs can be chalked up to poor quality versions used by cheap a$$ mofos.

Loose connections AND oxidation AND conductivity of the materials. That solder will prevent oxidation but will have poor conductivity.

I ordered both a SW and an MC after participating in the demo, jumping on the Summer sale discount.
The SW arrived about two weeks after purchasing, but I'm still waiting on the MC. I've emailed Mark a few times, and he has been very quick to respond, apologizing for the delay, and explaining that the shells for the MC were held-up in customs due to the tariff situation.
I look forward to trying the combo
