Re: Studer A80 RC
My tube pre has an hour meter so I don't have to manually track tube hours. I'm thinking the on timer would be great for following any lube intervals.
The Teac 4010S manual is like brief reminder notes for the guy that designed it.

Looks about as good as this trend… I have no idea why someone would want a car/truck to look like this?

The primer gray trend needs to end as well. IMO

Re: computer and Phone virus protection
Thank you @Jstas!
I might not agree with everything, but that doesn’t matter, and I could be wrong — even though I’m never wrong! 🤪
The point is, you took the time to write out a detailed analysis with actionable information.
Well done! 👍 🥇 👏

Re: rti12 tower speakers bass drivers not working after long move.
Hello,
Welcome to the Polk forum. That's not something that usually happens, especially to both speakers. There are two sets of binding posts on the rear of the cabinets. Which set are you connecting to? If the lower set of binding posts then that eliminates the possibility that the jumper plates have come loose. These speakers have the two woofer wired in series, which means that if one of the internal connecting wires has come off neither woofer will work. This would mean removing one of the woofers from the cabinet and checking all the wires that run from the crossover to the woofers.
