Re: What Are You Listening To? (Part Deux)
I can't remember if I posted this before, but this "Rewind That" album from Christian Scott, is worth seeking out. Excellent all around. I heard it on Radio Paradise one evening, and went to eBay the next day to get the CD.

Re: You know you’re getting old when…
You know you are getting old when you posses wisdom such as this....
An Italian Mother -
Mrs. Ravioli comes to visit her son Anthony for dinner. He lives with a female roommate, Maria.
During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't help but notice how pretty Anthony's roommate was. She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this had only made her more curious.
Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Anthony and his roommate than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, Anthony volunteered, 'I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Maria and I are just roommates.'
About a week later, Maria came to Anthony saying, 'Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the silver sugar bowl. You don't suppose she took it, do you?' Well, I doubt it, but I'll email her, just to be sure.' So he sat down and wrote an email:
Dear Mama,
I'm not saying that you 'did' take the sugar bowl from my house; I'm not saying that you 'did not' take it. But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.
Love, Anthony
Several days later, Anthony received a response email from his Mama which read:
Dear Son,
I'm not saying that you 'do' sleep with Maria, and I'm not saying that you 'do not' sleep with her. But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her “OWN bed”, she would have found the sugar bowl by now.
Love, Mama

Re: What Are You Listening To? (Part Deux)
Nice score SIHAB! That's what got me into vinyl 20 years ago. Most of my collection was priced similarly. After some time, I gave up around here because the GW bins were mostly empty for years and the prices kept going up. Glad your location still has some gems.

Re: Brian Wilson of Beach Boys Dies At 82
R.I.P. Brian Wilson.
Saw the Beach Boys in 1965 at the historical (Atlanta) Municipal Auditorium. My favorite songs by them at that time were 409, Runaway, and Louie Louie
Later in life in 1971, my brother and I saw the Allman Brothers at the Auditorium.
The Auditorium was known as the Auditorium and Armory when constructed. The structure was dedicated in a pre-inaugural visit from President William Howard Taft in 1909 during which he was served a possum dinner, and the dining hall in which this event took place was named in his honor. The public dedication of the Auditorium took place with the hosting of the inaugural Atlanta Music Festival in May 1909.
The building became part of Georgia State University in 1979 which now uses the structure as their Alumni Hall.

Re: SDA SRS Best place to market
I'm going to wait until this thread totally goes to $hit before I make a comment about "helping my elderly parents liquidate".
Are they hoarding anything good? 🤔
