Re: CRS+ (2 board vs 1 board) questions.
Mine were originally CRS Dual Board, I upgraded them to single board CRS+ Fully Hot Rodded.
I owned a set of fully hot rodded 1C’s as well many moons ago, I like the 1C’s but would never part with my CRS+’s for them..
IMO The Monitor 7’s, CRS+’s, and the 2B’s (single board as well) are the three special Polk Speakers that will just about slay any room with the right upgrades and gear. It doesn’t have to be super high end gear, just good power.
Let the magic happen.. 😎
Don’t forget the Dreadnought..🤓

Re: CRS+ (2 board vs 1 board) questions.
The 1 board pin/blade crossovers, only the pins carry signal, the blades connect to the ground inside the cabinet to the negative binding posts.
Ohhhhhhhh. O.k.
I think I'd misunderstood the pin/blade vs blade/blade setup. I'll stare at schematics again later. Much appreciated!
[thinks]
I'm still floored with how wide an image these things throw.
[listening now]
I wonder how the difference in crossover design affects that.
I believe I'd read a DK post where he preferred his TL'd last gen to other versions, but I don't recall seeing anyone tear apart the listening experience between the 2 crossovers.

Re: Post a picture.....any picture...part deux...
Went to Manassas Battlefield for some family pics, walking back to the car the sunset wasn't perfect, needed another 15 min or so but we had to leave. Cell pic didn't capture the full contrast but I did get a few DSLR pics.

Have you ever seen any 1984 speakers that shipped out with silver basket midwoofers and passives?
It's not may have, it's fact.
Stop pretending you know all things Polk because you aren't even close.
Egg Nog Noggin aside, that is exactly what I meant. I never claimed to "know all things Polk". Just another case of slander from you.
And I admit when I'm wrong which you very rarely seem to do, this being a case in point. Those labels were pre 1979, at least based upon my 7Bs, so that would be another "on the fly change" according to you I guess. So you are saying these speakers are later than 1983 is that what you are saying??
You seem to want to muck up every newcomer's thread.
