Re: Strictly Jazz - Suggestions and a discussion about the music.

NEA Jazz Master Roy Haynes (March 13, 1925–November 12, 2024) has left the stage at age 99. Haynes was one of the most-recorded jazz drummers, with a career spanning eight decades. Pat Metheny, in a 2001 interview, called the Haynes his “number one hero on earth. Roy is the human manifestation of whatever it is that the word ‘hip’ was supposed to mean before it just became a word,” Metheny said. “Always in the moment, always in this time, eternal and classic and at the same time totally nonchalant about it.”

Re: Post a picture.....any picture...part deux...
^^^ had a 1977 Ford Ranger 4×4 back in the day. My father in law used a electric gun to put on the lug nuts & I questioned it. He said it was fine. It started to shake real bad on i95 & it was scary. I pulled over. Sure enough. They came loose

Re: New to me Monitor 7 and 5
I’ll measure the spokes and windows this evening. I didn’t do it last night because just by eyeballing it they look the same. The only difference I noticed was the newer MW had the little tabs. Where I did notice a difference is between the magnets and baskets. Also the older ones had a factory gasket whereas the newer one has the white hand placed gasket. I put one of each in the 7s and they sound the same.

I believe that's the series with Graham Hancock.
I personally enjoy the heck
out of Hancock's work.
80% of Commenters will dismiss ANYTHING that he does simply because "He doesn't have a degree in Archaeology !"
Or Astronomy.
Or Oceanology.
They base their arguments on credentials and ignore that frequently Hancock is merely raising valid questions.
Interesting interviews on Rogan's podcast.
