Re: Reserve series
I have been buying polks for years and the price to performance is great. I dont have an issue with the reserves price. This is what they are known for. With everything on sale I saved 900 bucks. I feel good.

Re: Reserve series
The sale is still on. I just bought the R400, pair of R100 and a pair R600 from best buy. Wanted it from Crutchfield but they were running low on stock. I couldn't pass on this deal.

Re: Winter is Coming, how are you protecting your ride?

This is my "New to me" truck. Last weekend I installed new Bilstein shocks and struts, gave it a good wash followed by clay bar detailing, and finished up with some Carnuba wax. Yesterday, I treated the undercarriage with Fluid Film undercoat, and tomorrow I will install new EBC rotors and pads on all four corners. I will probably wait another season to replace the tires.

Re: NC mountains
Tom,
If you can, put together a list a valid places to donate cash to. I know many of us would like to donate whatever, but cash seems to be the go to for supplies people need right now. Many local volunteer camps doing so much but as we all know, they have their limits too.
Honestly, a list isn't needed. Samaritan's Purse would be the one organization that most local folks on the ground are saying is making the biggest impact.
I am trying to find out who the cat is that lost the back half of his home to a river but opened up his front lawn and made a makeshift "store" where folks in the area can come and get supplies that they would need for free. Whether it be beef jerky, gas, gas cans, food, clothing, sleeping bags, laundry detergent, whatever. I am hearing of folks from as far away as Nebraska driving trailers full of donated goods to that location.

Mitsubishi LT-5V Vertical Turntable
The end of record/arm return-stop quit working on the Mitsubishi LT-5V. They used bulbs and photocells for operation. There is a plate with slots in it at top in front of arm bar. Light shines through and triggers stop though a small slot blocked by the bar.
The stop LED in the arm was bad. I had replaced all the bulbs with LED's a couple years ago. I verified the resistor choice put them below the 20mA max current. The other two LED's were still good. Oh well, al fixed now. Also replaced strobe LED's.
