Re: Post a picture.....any picture...part deux...
Y'all seriously don't recognize M.T. Green?
I figured it couldn’t be her, because I didn’t think one of the loudest whiners about “political posts” would be so overtly political. Now we all know the levels of your hypocrisy….

Re: Noise.
What can be done about the noise at a live performance? Will a SnubWay help?
If you are listening to a recording of a live event you may be able to hear more of the low level crowd chatter due to the reduced noise floor. In my case I could definitely hear more, "We love you Taylor" from the crowd than before I had the Snubway. Well worth the expense.
You missed my point. Taylor...really!?!
I got your point completely. My point was meant to be self depreciating humor in response to your humerous post. I guess I failed... Who the *&^% listens to Taylor Swift - lol

Re: My 2024 Polk SDA 2b Modification Progress Thread (Drop1)
For posterity's sake, #6 and #7 are switched in my diagram above.
And... the most difficult part of this project is done.

Your Mar 19th post is awesome!
That goes a very long way to help others follow in your footsteps while avoiding re-“invention of the wheel!” Don’t be surprised if others use something similar for other models😊

Re: Polk SDA CRS
I just got some of these today. I disconnected the Dimensional tweeters on both and they sound fantastic. With my subwoofer adding bass, they remind me of some JBL I heard as a kid. 2025 and I'm digging them. 😎

RTA 11T (L) Mod (Done Pics)
My friend had me go through his 11T's and do the TL mod last year. They turned out awesome. Forgot to post pics for everyone last year, so here they are.
The original holes were not CNC'd and many had broken the baffle due to bad alignment, requiring some repairs.

Be prepared to remove some factory over-glue to get all the hurricane nuts in properly.

Unwinding the original 0.4mH inductor down to 0.3mH for the TL mod.

Crossovers (plan was to test different 12uF tweeter caps, however the owner likes these so they are staying put for now).

These turned out so awesome I went ahead and bought a pair of 11TL's for myself last week. Will post a thread on those sometime down the road.

Re: You know you’re getting old when…
I also took 2 years of typing in high school 71 and 72. Never used the skill again till the mid 90's when I brought my first Gateway puter home. To my amazement it all came right back after a 25 year hiatus and I could still do "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" without looking at the keys. Nowadays rarely a day goes by where I'm not using that very useful skill.

At my high school, many of the boys took typing. I am so glad I was one of them. A skill that I have used throughout my life and just now typing this statement.
I took typing class in high school for a joke. The class was right after lunch, freshly stoned.....turned out I accidentally learned how to type. We started on manual and eventually switched to electric....mid 70's....
