Re: Housing market's gonna crash
Commercial real estate is in free fall in most cities. A whole lot of store chains
are going under. Malls are dying. That means a lot of banks are going to be in
the hurtwagon. If banks go into duress, getting a loan is going to be tough.

Re: Housing market's gonna crash
It's pretty much the same here. Our mortgage is 2200 mth our house is 2850sq ft. The neighbor next to us (it's a rental) only 3 bed and about 1900sq ft is paying 2900 in rent. They are building these condos nearby a 3 bed 2k sq ft is 3400 mth in rent...What the actual F. Rent?!?!?!?!

Re: looking for new printer options
Our local Best Buy has a color laser printer for not much more compared to the black only on the website. Tomorrow I'll hit both BB and the local office supply store to see what my options are.
Beware, color laser is great, but the replacement toner will cost you 4 times as much as a monochrome printer. Price it out before you commit.
For that reason, I've had monochrome lasted for the last 25+ years. Inkjet hates sitting idle so I dumped that around 2003.
For color, I send stuff to FedEx Kinkos, or hand color if it's simple. (Or occasionally I'll print it at work 😬)
I've had a Canon Multipurpose (mf445dw) since 2020 and it's been great. I had two different Brother units before that one and they worked fine as well. Toner is a bit pricy for genuine Conon replacements, but they replace the fuser with each cartridge so that means more consistent prints as it ages.
Keep in mind that companies play a loss game on new printers. Their new price is often priced less than a replacement toner cartridge. Thanks Ken. What was the upfront cost?
