Re: Using other tweeter instead of RD0198-1 to replace SL2500 in Monitor 7 series 2
3 feet away you are going to be getting room effects. That's why, if you can't do a gated response with a sweep tone (throws out the room delayed reflections that come back to the mic), it is best to hold the mic an inch or so from the tweeter's dome. You could then do the same thing with the woofer, maybe 6" away from the dust cap.
I like to use a sweep tone (which you did?) instead of a steady pink noise or white noise signal. Also, you should disgregard everything below 200 Hz or so. That's what Danny Richie does.

Re: Coffee grinder, didn't know
A good burr grinder is the most important part of a good coffee setup. I have some high end coffee stuff and my burr grinder is the most expensive single piece, even more expensive than the espresso machine.
What grinder did you go with?

Coffee grinder, didn't know
Uh, wow!!
Just switched from a blade to a burr grinder for the first time. I had no idea what a difference it makes. High efficiency grinder of beans!! I dig it

Re: Height speaker recommendation for Atmos 7.2.4 setup
The Atmos speakers have a fairly limited bandwidth typically, and aren’t called upon for heavy output. They also don’t need to be “voice matched” to other speakers. Just use what fits your asthmatics and budget…
False. They get the same signal range as the rest of system so get good speakers. Not low tier or low budget speakers
Play any movie - ANY movie - with only the Atmos speakers running. Then play the same movie with your L&R or center. Then tell me what you hear. But hey - if you want to waste money on top tier speakers for Atmos, by all means…;-)

You know, maybe someone around here has a set of the face plates from the 198 or 194 tweeters, I’m not sure if the hole to hole matches, but if it did, they would look better than what you have going look wise..
I am with Jesse, I would get the correct tweets..

Re: Using other tweeter instead of RD0198-1 to replace SL2500 in Monitor 7 series 2
You've already identified them.Want to see if there're any pitfall or potential problem I might run into using the above replacement tweeter instead of RD0198-1? Thanks guys.
Possible anything in the tweeter crossover circuit I might be able to tweet to volume match the tweeter 91db sensitivity to the 6.5" woofer's 89db sensitivity?
You could add a small value resistor in series to the positive circuit going to the tweeter. Maybe start with a 0.5 ohm/5 watt to establish if the value needs to go up or down.
Personally, I'd get the correct tweeters. In time, the money spent will be a distant memory.

Re: You’re doing it wrong…
I read once that such a high percentage of accidents occur during left turns, that UPS plots their delivery routes with NO left turns (unless absolutely necessary).

We lived across the street from the 10-acre field behind the studio where we played baseball and banged on the cables holding up their antenna. The studio building is now a funeral home and the field has been replaced with a small crowded subdivision of lookalike homes.
The picker on the left though....isn't that....isn't that....hey, that's the guy that keeps the light on for you and offers up his sausage...right???
It does indeed look like a young Mr. Dean.
But not Tom Bodett, former Alaskan, now a Woodchuck*. He's the guy who kept the light on for us at Motel Six.

Wait, this is a north Carolina thing?
Lol
They have removed almost almost left turns around here, you have to turn right, do a u turn and then proceed
