Joe Ely - Musta Notta Gotta Lotta
    1981, SouthCoast Records MCA-5183, LP

A well mastered LP with the journeyman, rockabilly talents of Joe Ely. More notable on this effort are the chops of Reese Wynans on keys and Lloyd Maines on steel and rhythm guitars.

Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush - Live
1977, Sony CD release 1990, CD

One of the very finest blues and rock groups of all time, IMHO. Frank's guitar knocks my socks off--just like it did the first time I heard it in the late '70's. Superb!

Absolutely brilliant album. Hit http://www.myspace.com/thelovedones to check out a few tracks.

BlueMDPicker, if you dig Sublime, check out Mad Caddies' CD Keep It Going. Very much that same kind of groove, but with a little taste of New Orleans thrown in.

Temptation right now at about 1600 watts
That string bass just rips right through you:eek:
This is one tight recording. Just a plain old CD.
A little bright, but it is on my Sony CD straight to the amps via passive pre.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

hold on to this feeling.. "Freedom" J-5. While commercial rap gives hip-hop a bad name we still have the musical Jurrasic 5. I love how my RTi 10 woofers let me enjoy the bass line and the mid lets me enjoy the snap of the drum, tasty stuff, I am so glad Chali 2na is carrying the tradition

Not all the impressive but In The Ghetto and Don't Be Cruel were nice.

I couldn't resist listening to it after one of the guys on american idol sang one of his songs.

Roy Buchanan (with the Snakestretchers) - Roy Buchanan
    1972, Polydor PD 5033, LP

"John's Blues" wrings out about every note and tone available from a Tele and was the obvious preamble to his later cover of "After Hours". I'm not a country fan--but, if it all had this kind of vitality, I would be. Good stuff.

Harvey Mandel - Games Guitars Play
    1970, Philips PHS 600-325, LP

Another treasure from my friend George. Harvey has been a favorite with me since his early 70's work with Mayall. This album has a lot of the same vibe.
