What did you do to your stereo rig today?

Forgot to post this but I had an "itch" for a different sound so I swapped out the LRSs for the LSi9s. Then I realized two things: 1, I had been jamming to the LRSs for two years before this "itch" came along so kudos the them! & 2, I almost forgot what it was like having a bunch more speaker cones moving air around the hifi was like! It's a more visceral experience for sure.
Now I thinking the next upgrade this cold season is going to be BIGGER (cone driver) speakers.

Big cones, or big horns! Something like this comes to mind...
-
I probably can't afford that LOL. So I'll most likely start with something like the Tekton Double Impact.

Those Tekton get pretty good reviews.

Now if only I can find a pair second hand around my neck of the woods.2ch rig: Speakers: LSi9s with VR3's Fortress mods Preamplifier: Parasound P5 DAC: Fiio K13 Amplifier: Parasound A23 CDP: Pioneer DV-563A Cables: Wireworld Equinox 7 XLR ICs, Wireworld Ultraviolet 7 USB, AudioQuest Q2s, AudioQuest NRG X(preamp)

I've seen a few pop up near Atlanta but they are always sold in less than a day.
-
Yeah Atlanta isn't far from me either, ~2 1/2hrs or so. They sell fast!2ch rig: Speakers: LSi9s with VR3's Fortress mods Preamplifier: Parasound P5 DAC: Fiio K13 Amplifier: Parasound A23 CDP: Pioneer DV-563A Cables: Wireworld Equinox 7 XLR ICs, Wireworld Ultraviolet 7 USB, AudioQuest Q2s, AudioQuest NRG X(preamp)

Very nice!!!
Yeah, something else comes to mind when I hear big cones......Marantz AV10-Emotiva ERC3-Denafrips Venus-Panasonic UB820-AudioQuest Power Quest 707-Emotiva DR3, DR2, XPA2, XPA6-Focal Kanta No2, Sopra Center-PolkAudio RTiA9, RTiA3, LSiM 702F/X-Epik Empire-SVS SB5000-11.3 -

I would research the brand in detail. Many report that mostly good reviews exist because the owner goes after reviewers with lawsuits if they make negative comments.
2 Channel Rosso Fiorentino Volterra II, 2 REL T9x, Norma Revo IPA-140B, Norma Revo DAC-2, Lumin U2 Mini, VPI Prime w/SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC, ModWright PH-150, SonoruS ATR10, AudioQuest Niagara 7000 w/Dragon power cable, WAY power cables for all other sources, WAY Silver 3 Ana+ speaker cables, WAY interconnect cables -

That incident with Erin's Audio Corner removed Tekton from my shopping list forever. Too many other options. -
Interesting. I guess I hadn't read into Tekton deep enough. That certainly changes things.

I've heard a lot of speakers and listened to a pair of Tekton's once. No interest in hearing them again. YMMV, but recommend listening to them before buying.Apogee Stages / Apollon Purifi 1ET6525SA / Classe CT-SSP / Innersound Phono / Bluesound Node 130 / Oppo BDP-105D / Technics SP-15 w/SAEC WE-308SX & Ortofon AS-309 arms / Audio-Technica ART-1 & Dynavector XX2 Mk II carts -

Hoping that takes care of my speed at
33-1/3, holds good @ 45.
Having the guy do them all (caps) while he’s in there.
Bought this one new in 79.
Installed an SME Series III Tonearm on this one.
Getting ready to sell some of my TT’s.
We just don’t spin anymore.
Did your speed problem get resolved? Doesn't the DP2000 have a strobe on the inner platter that helps it maintain the correct speed? Did you check this for damage?Apogee Stages / Apollon Purifi 1ET6525SA / Classe CT-SSP / Innersound Phono / Bluesound Node 130 / Oppo BDP-105D / Technics SP-15 w/SAEC WE-308SX & Ortofon AS-309 arms / Audio-Technica ART-1 & Dynavector XX2 Mk II carts -
I'm not likely to ever go after a pair. I saw a couple pairs local and was curious, but but he more I look into it, they probably aren't for me. Heck, I'm pretty happy with the 4 different sets I can listen to now. -

Still at his repair shop.
The strobe just shows the speed and there’s no speed adjustment on the 2000.
It holds rock steady at 45 but she runs a tad slow at 33-1/3.
Pretty sure it’s the caps in the speed circuit but he hasn’t gotten back to me yet.
While he’s in there, having him do all caps as they’re all original.
Last time it was in rotation both speeds were dead on.
It’s amazing what shows up after not using it for 10 years. -

Actually, there are two adjustment pots under the motor cover...at least according to this discussion from AK:
