I've been watering our little yard quite often since we're in a drought.

We've gotten over 2" of rain the past few days, and our lawn is getting fuller. I had some bald spots from where I killed off some weeds, but they're healing just fine now that I put some more Nitrogen & Potasium down. I did some more research on fertilizer lately. With the new feeding levels, the lawn should prosper better than ever before.

SO CLOSE!! That one is a '63. The Ferris Bueller one was a '61!

The one I posted a pic of sold for $18,150,000 at Mecum Indy a couple weeks ago. 😳 It is the last Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder built.

I didn't read nothin' while on the porcelian gawd, as a kid. I stared at the Farrah Faucet (or some other smokin' hot chick that was scantily clad) full size poster hidden on the back of the door, of course, fully seen when it was shut.

    Hubba, hubba....

It helped that I had my own room, with bathroom, in the basement. Complete, with my own living room, stereo system, and shop

89 years ago (May 29, 1937), the first flight of the Grumman G-21 Goose took place.

In 2009 Jimmy Buffett purchased N48550, a 1939 Grumman Goose seaplane. It's the third Grumman seaplane that Buffett had owned. Jimmy Buffett’s beloved 1939 Grumman G-21 Goose seaplane was a staple of his tropical island-hopping adventures. The historic amphibious aircraft now rests on permanent display at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama, where it was donated to honor his legacy.

Following Buffett's passing, it was revealed that he had anonymously donated both his Grumman Goose and his Boeing Stearman biplane to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. The planes were put on display there to celebrate the Gulf Coast legend’s lifelong connection to aviation and the sea.

I realized sitting here in front of some pre-Dark Side Pink Floyd...
the astronaut's posture on this beer glass (a local brewery thing) almost matches my Maxell "Blown Away" poster guy. Hmmm.

Rain really helps the Crepe Myrtles branch out.

I decided to clean up our neighbor's yard while she left for a week. I dethatched my side of the property line and just HAD TO DO HER SIDE TOO. o:) It was a BIG job, but it got my blood flowing again.

The Live Oak trees' leaves were preventing the grass from getting air and rain to the soil. It's been years since it was raked/de-thached. We've had rain since, and we're having rain now. That yard is turning greener by the day.

I also spread some fertilizer over onto her yard. Not the whole thing since it's expensive now. Anyway, here are a couple of pics. Oh, my wife helped the second day to bag the ton of leaves and also blew the far-side Magnolia leaves back beside her house. I wanted to bag them; she didn't. I was tired anyway, so that's that. It looks the best it's been in a couple of years. ;) I'll put some more fertilizer down in her yard in a month. That should help the Centipede grass immensely. B)
