    How heavy ARE you☺️

    I’m 92lbs 😳
Where is the equally heavy review?

Probably this weekend, when I started to make room, I realized I need to do some house cleaning behind my rack..

    92 lbs. ?

    DANG!!!!!! :o

Now put that thing in your right arm (stabilized with your left hand) and carry it about 30 ft., up 3 steps, and then another 15 ft.
That's what I stupidly did to get my 100 lb. front door from my truck to inside my home. I should've waited for my wife to get back from Florida before buying it.

But 92 lbs. in a dense BLOCK is worse than what I dealt with. :#

That Niagara has a lot of GUTS!

    Congrats! B)

Speed and articulation has definitely improved. Attack and cymbal decay is much improved...

    Tom

I don’t know Tom, I will give it a few days, but right now, I will stand by what I said, this unit has literally changed everything for the better, I honestly was expecting subtle change, and maybe it is in all areas, and thats why it’s such a huge change for the better.

I see this as being one of the best investments/purchases I have made for my system.

I think John hit the nail on the head.

We build our systems in the wrong way... You can build a beautiful house, but without a foundation, it will never be what you want it to be. The power feeding your system is that foundation, and if you are going to play at the level many of us want to go, before you start spinning your wheels on gear, build that foundation first.

I am seriously, utterly mind blown over here. I have had a feeling for sometime now, that the Panamax was a weak link in my system, and my gut feeling was correct.

Simply knowing how much noise is eliminated is one indicator of how effective the Niagara is, But the real test is in how good the music sounds.
My experience yesterday is the background is black as night and the music appears from blackness. everything is super crystal clear, and pinpointed where it's at.

The sound is also more powerful and the soundstage wider and deeper. I really just want to sit and listen to the music it sounds so good.
To my ears the unit does everything it's advertised to do, and then some, It does not choke or compress the music, but rather brings out the best.

I always thought the system I had sounded great, so I am astounded how much better it got after plugging everything into the Niagara unit.

That’s awesome @Toolfan66. As I’ve said throughout this thread it’s a great piece of equipment. But as you evaluate the purchase do consider the power cable you added at the same time. That is AQs TOL cable. If you have another 20-amp cable you might exchange them to understand how it plays into the mix.

Again, I predict more power cables in your future.

    Enjoy listening…

I think that Dragon power cord may be more expensive than the Niagara 7000 if both were to be bought new. B)

I remember the Niagara 7000 was around $8K new when it was introduced about a decade ago. New price is way up since then. I don't think they've changed anything inside it.

If both bought new the 7000 is considerably more than the Dragon.

I'm seeing $11,500 on the Audioquest website for a genuine made to order Dragon 2 meter power cord, so yes lower than the retail on the 7000 by a bit. The 1 meter looks to be considerably less.

The Dragon I got was brand new 1.5m, he wrapped it up in the deal to push me over the edge. It is definitely the most expensive cable in my herd..

You’re talking over $20k if you purchase both brand new. 😳

Are you using it with the L800's?

Check out Jenna Mammina's "Wicked" LP. Just her and a guitar or two. It sounds so pure and intimate.
