The world really has changed since 1954, hasn't it?
I mean... I can't remember the last time I saw a broom with Electrene bristles, you know?

I remember getting one of those on a box of Alpha Bits. I think it was The Archies.
Here is a video about these cereal box records:

I've got one of those records (more or less - rather more modern than Sugar Bear) sittin' up in the hifi loft -- for no particular reason.

I found it stuck in a book or something and pulled it out* to spin it... sometime.
EDIT: Does any of all y'all recognize any of those stars?

Oh. Come to think of it -- I have long presumed that Sugar Bear (the Post Cereal version, that is*) is the cereal-ized version of that great '50s and '60s crooner, the Singing Barber, Perry Como.

Ol' Perry earned the first-ever gold record for the little ditty reproduced above.
Y'all may remember this one, from much later in his career.

* As opposed to the Sugar Bear of Smokey and the Bandit, and maybe - or maybe not - the one name-checked in Elton John & Bernie Taupin's Someone Saved my Life Tonight.

I think I see Susanna Hoffs in the girl group on the left, so they might be The Bangles.
The guy on the right may be Richard Marx but I am not sure.
The five "men" on the bottom may be Bon Jovi. It looks like Bon Jovi in the middle, but (thankfully) I don't know what the rest of that band looks like.
I have no clue who the 3. . . . people in the top middle are, but I bet they like to tell others their pronouns. -
It appears that I was correct about The Bangles and Bon Jovi. The band in the top middle is The Psychedelic Furs and the guy with the mullet is from The Alarm.

I ALMOST ordered this and some others 2 or 3 days ago.

I was going to order 2 of these Yoda ones and give one to my stepdaughter since she's a total Star Wars NUT.
Maybe for Christmas...Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Zahn is the best Star Wars writer, hands down. My daughter and I were fortunate enough to meet him at Comic-Con last year. He was awesome, just sat and chatted with us for about 15mins.

I met an attractive 60 year old woman at a bar last night. She was very sexy looking I thought to myself if she has a daughter she wouldn't look too bad either. We had a few drinks together and then she asked me if I'd ever had a thing called a Sportsman's Double? "What's that?" I asked. "It's a mother and daughter threesome," she replied. I was really thinking this could be my lucky night so we drank a little more. Then we went back to her place. When we got in the front door I couldn't contain my excitement and then she shouts up stairs, "MOTHER, ARE YOU STILL AWAKE?Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
