You must admit it was very disarming when he was given the cold shoulder. -
It flew to the ground across the street and taped hard with one foot/claw, but it didn't get anything. It then flew up onto my house's gable and sat there for five minutes. Another Hawk came and sat right beside this one for a couple of minutes. The second one than quickly flew into a tree across the street and into a tree in their backyard. I didn't get a pic of the two shoulder-to-shoulder. :'(
I was throwing peanuts at about 8 squirrels just before my neighbor spotted the Hawk on the wire. The Hawks were scouting for dinner for sure!
I'm sure this Hawk pair will be coming for squirrels in the coming weeks. There are plenty of squirrels and birds! Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Red shouldered hawk. They are probably breeding (nesting) where @Tony M is by this time of year.
Yeah, those are good ones.
Great photos.

Great shot Gee-off.
I got "The Stand" stuck on the brain, still, from a binge watch last weekend. M - O - O - N spells too much post-apocalyptic content in one go.I disabled signatures. -

I know, a girl I used to hang with showed me. Just zoom all the way in, takes a steady hand, once you have it, it'll lock in focus, then shoot.

I have the same phone. Did you crop the photo? Because mine would take a photo of a vast area around the moon.
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
