I was a mechanic/service manager for a large Honda,Yamaha dealership from 1979-1992, this struggle was real.

Man, I really don't get this with the 10mm. If anything, I have extra 10mm stuff. I only have two 10mm sockets in my set, but multiple types of 10mm wrenches, like flat, angled, and ratcheting. Definitely have to say my most commonly used. That and the 12mm.

Especially if you're sharing with another mechanic. My bag really needs my attention. When i raced, everything was neatly arranged in my toolbox, but now, 20 years later, I have 1/4" and 1/2" drives, standard length and deep sockets, 8mm through 20mm and above for special applications, and everything thrown into one craftsman bag.

So yeah, the struggle is real indeed lol. By the way, very cool job you had!!! You and I could have made a pretty good team, so long as you didn't mind wrenching on Suzuki's

    10mm.

Working on 2 Toyota Camrys for years, 10mm bolts seem to be what holds them together. ;)
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I feel like I spend more time hunting for my 13mm sockets…

We already went through this. It's tube art done by a friend of Ken's. He posted about the artist with a link to info about him.

Come on doc, clearly that's advertising active wear stockings. Think Lululemon for the 60s.

@mhardy6647 it's a venerable 64 with the cool "magic eye" VU meter and the three speed manual tape transport.

@txcoastal1 , that is a found object sculpture made by David Gibney from a vintage movie reel canister that was part of the Historic Maryland Theater in the town where I live. He also used sections of an Ampex 351 tape electronics and some random tube circuitry I gave him.
