"Larry, the real reason we invited you over tonight was not to pregame for a secret, invite-only Van Halen concert. I'm sorry for the deception. We're here to talk to you about your Van Halen addiction and how it's affecting your relationships. And next thing, you'll be posting about Van Halen related wet dreams. Don't laugh, it's closer than you realize. It's even happened to people you know."I disabled signatures.

Hardyish Musings... If one pronounces the ASR acronym, is the resulting word simply gibberish, or does represent the ASR membership?
Kinda like how, in Canada, we can abbreviate "hoser" as HSR. Ex., 'ya HSR!'I disabled signatures. -
Ancient Hebrew had no vowels.
The so-called Tetragrammaton, for example, (יהוה) is traditionally represented using the Latin alphabet as YHWH.
I realized one day that the word banana transliterated into ancient Hebrew would probably be rendered BHNHNH and pronounced something like boch-noch-noch, with guttural vocalization.

Ancient Hebrew had no vowels
It's been said that that is because they were too cheap to buy a vowel.
....not saying that that is right, just saying that that has been said. 🤔Sal Palooza -
