We drove through the ol' Baltimore Horrible Tunnel (I-895) -- still my favorite way to traverse Charm City in a trice) -- last Thursday afternoon. The Canton approach to the entrance of the southbound tube of the tunnel afforded us a fairly good look at the carnage.

I took this pic today. Parents of the year award??? I really feel like after today I've seen it all. Baby was even crying. There are alcohol bottles in the white box. When you think humanity can't get any worse it hands you this.

The box is on the edge of the stroller next to her right arm. It's very possible that her right arm could move freely.
What I find more concerning is that the weight of the box may be resting directly on her left knee. -

It was very hard to not speak out. Being in uniform I have to be careful and choose my battles. Honestly, the child did not seem to be in distress. I took a close look at her face. While looking over their papers. If she had I would have just grabbed the box. Unfortunately I see things similar in nature all the time at work.

Actually, I am sure that there are many fine taquerias in the Nutmeg State. It just struck me as an odd place to go looking for a string of them.
