That is the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while!

I read that they used trickle-up technology from the K-Car for this.

But why though? Chrysler making a $250,000 prototype supercar is like McDonald's making a $300 prototype gourmet hamburger. Supercar =/= Chrysler just as Gourmet =/= McDonald's.

    Cool outta Chrysler.

The vehicle that was towing it was battery powered...

What really kilt it was that they found Top secret documents in
the trunk showing it didn't meet EPA standards.

That was my first thought too but they were owned by Mercedes at the time so they had that engineering to back them up and look at what GM did with the new Corvette! Truly exceptional design IMHO.

Remember that Chrysler owned Lamborghini at one point.

    Also, keep in mind...

Their sister company , Dodge makes that Ram TRX. That truck is no slouch AT ALL when it comes to power.

It's a shame this was never released.

Ram is it's own company within the fiat umbrella

Ah, did not know that. The TRX is something to behold though. Fast is an understatement. Damned thing can do a wheelie!

Yeah back in 2010 fiat Chrysler split into like 4 or 5 different entities within the umbrella

Yeah, I may be incorrect with this but that is what I refer to as a "sister company".

I think the 12-cyl Lamborghinis run a slight price premium over that -- even though you'd be hard pressed to plough the back 40 with a Miura or a Countach.

Of course -- upon reflection -- if one could plow with a Countach, one could probably finish the task rather more quickly. B)

Considering Lamborghini got their start scavenging the countryside for destroyed tanks to use for tractor parts, they have done pretty well for themselves.

Yes, it does, as long as your knees can reach the steering wheel!
