On a secondary note, I've noticed my posts are now subject to pre-approval. Reckon I went full, anti-woketard on sump'n. Sorry 'bout that.

Not the nearly the same as years ago. I pass on them. Krispy Kreme and Winchell's are better IMO.
EDIT: By far my favorite. https://www.lamars.com/
My stepdaughter works at DD and she's brought home some custom donuts, so I'm a fan right now. DD used to make a jelly donut without any powder or sugar on it, but with vanilla icing. She's been able to get those made for me. Thanks! I liked many of them. The beige 1940 Cadillac is great, but the wheels on it look really modern and very out of place on it. Put some circa '40's wheels on it at least. Maybe they modernized the brake system to actually road drive it and have to use modern wheels?
-
There does seem to be an emerging trend of putting modern wheels/tires on some fairly classic vehicles. I hadn't thought about brakes -- I thought it was just symptomatic of the era.
Maybe I should give 'em the benefit of the doubt!

I like those ~69-73 era Chevy pick-ups. My uncle had a red and white one.

That's not hitting the ground running, it's just hitting the ground. -
My parents had a '76 like this, same body color but maroon top and maroon interior. 455 cu. in. Rode very smooth, thick plush seats, but it loved gasoline.

I like 'em, too -- very much. Not all that keen on the understructure of that particular one though.

This 48 has air bags to raise while towing. Love the 46 till 54 Chevy truck body styles.
Had a '53 that I was restoring with a friend till his wife decided to get a divorce. I didn't have a place to store and work on it cost effectively, so I sold it.
