I wish I still had that TV. :p

    Mmmmm! Tasty!!! :)

Forget the TV. I'm liking that Yammie integrated. Always liked the look of these vintage Yamaha's. Making a comeback with the A S Series: 1200, 2200 and 3200. Anyone got 4k$ they're not using right now. Karma for Keiko? ;)

I mean -- I still have the amp. B) (and, of course the loudspeakers, too)

I've got some Yamaha spares, you know? Shipping would be a bit dear (especially nowadays), but if you ever find yourself in the Northeast, and you have a little extra room in your checked baggage* -- I can probably send you back home with somethin'. :D

    _________
    * can't recommend totin' stuff like that in your carryon luggage. ;)

Most kind of you, sir. I've always liked those silver faced sleepers from the CA Series.

As you may recall, I harbor a bit of a nonlinearity (as I like to say) vis-a-vis Yamaha components -- especially of that era.

They go well with Polk loudspeakers, too.

Heck, I have modern Polks hooked up to a modern* Yamaha RX-V1050 upstairs.

    _______________
    * It's all relative, you know? Modern to me. B)

    52683474218_e88bd06dca_b.jpg

I do like the remote control! What'll they think of next? ;)

IIRC, this is one you rescued from a landfill??? I like Yamaha gear. Most of my main rig consists of Yamaha components from different years. My power plants consist of an RX-797 2ch receiver and an AX-596 2ch integrated. Both are similar in construction and rating, 100WPC into 8ohms. The 797 was Yamaha's next to the last, 2ch Flagship receivers.

If I were to have a dream piece of kit, the A S2200/S3200 would be it. I'd might even settle for the 1200 in a pinch. The A S3200 is a stunning piece for sure. Still, I've been quite content with what I have. ;)

Some tend to hate them. While others, like me, love them because they tell the truth. I've had my pair for over 40yrs now and still going strong. Most people familiar with the workings of a recording studio know what these are. Most music from my generation was mixed on a pair of these. If they sound good on a pair of NS10M, they'll sound good on anything.

I do recall listening to a pair of those and it sticking in my mind as one of the nicest sounding bookies I had heard at that time.

This was decades ago. Still wouldn't mind having a pair.

^^^ That was when? :) DD here they have maybe 15-20 kinds. They arrive frozen and are thawed.
Not the nearly the same as years ago. I pass on them. Krispy Kreme and Winchell's are better IMO.

My stepdaughter works at DD and she's brought home some custom donuts, so I'm a fan right now. DD used to make a jelly donut without any powder or sugar on it, but with vanilla icing. She's been able to get those made for me. Next month, when she goes off to college again, I may change my mind.

In the spirit of the Ford F-150 ad posted by @mhardy6647, here's a pic and price from Facebook Marketplace.

Anyone care to guess what is being sold??? Keep in mind that some of you are already on double-secret probation.

Thanks! I liked many of them. The beige 1940 Cadillac is great, but the wheels on it look really modern and very out of place on it. Put some circa '40's wheels on it at least. Maybe they modernized the brake system to actually road drive it and have to use modern wheels?
