Threads like this are always a little hard to swallow and respond too. Don't think about losing her at this point. There have been some serious strides in Cancer treatment since we were growing up.

Let me offer you some uplifting facts...

My cousin had Cancer when he was 9 years old. He had it bad. I forget all of the particulars but it was so bad that the family got notification to say our last goodbye's. My aunt and uncle had already picked out his grave and were in the funeral planning stages.

He survived and went on to prosper.

About a decade ago, that same cousin notified the family that he had Cancer once again. Once again, stage 4. In his "boys", armpits and about 4 or 5 other places throughout his body. It sounded really, really bad and we once again braced ourselves for the worst.

He's now pushing close to 50 years old and is as healthy as can be. My point is, it may seem bad...like, really bad with no hope. Let me assure you that both you and her need to keep that hope. Tell her with full confidence (even if you have some reservations) to keep fighting and to not lose faith that she can beat this. Many things concerning health can be affected by a mental state (IMO/IME) and you do not want her to mentally give up!

With that said, prayers sent and best of wishes for a relatively quick and full recovery. Take care of yourself during all of this and try to keep your head high. Not only for yourself, but for her as well.

    Tom

Devastating to read this but hoping to read much better news soon. Everything else seems so trivial and meaningless in comparison. Nothing else matters. We never appreciate what we have until we are faced with the possibility of losing it.

Stay strong and cherish every minute. Take care of yourself too. It’s important!

Very sorry to hear this, prayers sent.

My mom had a similiar issue a few years back, mass from lungs went to her brain, they had to remove a walnut size mass from her brain. Back and forth with treatments she has pulled through, which is something that helps me believe your prayers can be answered.

My mom is very stubborn which didn't help her with the doctors orders on her diet after her 1st treatment/surgery...lots of snacking and carbs/sugars during treatment until they finally told her....well... either or...that changed her a bit..lol.

She has gone "slightly" more keto which had helped but not everyone responds the same so it's definitely something you have to discuss with your doctors.

Just throwing that out in hope's that anything may help.

God bless and we will continue to pray for both you and your family and friends.

Best wishes man, I hope you have the success we all want you guys to have.
I’m not much help, I don’t know the prognosis of metastatic cancer to the brain, but it seems like there is some fight according to the docs otherwise they wouldn’t even proceed with the craniotomy.

I can't imagine what you're going through. Makes my head spin to think about my wife having to endure this. Sounds like there's definitely a fighting chance like some others have pointed out. I sincerely wish for you guys to stay strong, keep fighting and stay hopeful.

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
