Hey everyone,
My wife could really use your prayers, she has been diagnosed with cancer.
She survived breast cancer with a double mastectomy in 2020, long hard road but got through it.
She has been having headaches for a while and they got really bad and she was constantly throwing up in March so I took her to the doctor on 3/21/23, She got some medicine and sent home.
On 3/23/23 she called me and said she needed to go to the emergency room. They did a CT scan of her head and found swelling on her brain. She was flown to Vanderbilt in Nashville where a lot more testing was done.
They found a mass on the lower back of her brain. On 3/28/23 she had surgery to remove the mass on her brain. During this time we were told she had a mass on one of her lungs as well. She was discharged on April 3.
She did well that night but started sleeping a lot the next 2 days. I got concerned and called the neurologist and they said she needed to be checked out and I could use a local hospital instead of driving over 2 hours.
The local hospital checked her out and discussed everything with the doctors at Vanderbilt. She was transferred via ambulance this time.
They ran more CT scans and found the mass in her lung had doubled in size and was spreading.
Once we got the pathology report back it was determined that the mass from her brain had spread from her lungs. .
She has non small cell lung cancer. She will start chemotherapy and radiation next week. We have basically been in the hospital since 3/23/23, except for 2 nights at home.
I haven’t left her side the whole time and it’s an extremely hard situation to deal with.
I love her and can’t imagine losing her, I would rather go.

Now, the devil's going to try to come in here immediately and try to sow seeds of doubt. Don't believe him. The devil is a liar! Believe in God and in His power. Let us all continue in prayer for this little gal and for the peace of God to be upon her, Billy and this family. Walk by faith and believe in the power of God and of the Holy Spirit. He's the God of miracles and is still in the business of doing them. All He asks us to do is believe.
