I wonder just how many KW's will travel over these.....they were huge.

    I had a short-lived 72 Vega GT wagon. Fastest grocery-getter ever with a V8.

I've been meaning & meaning to snap a photo of this monstrosity without other weird ancillary equipment in the vicinity. Finally did so this afternoon -- although I should've cleaned the faceplate first :p

Found this rascal a few years back at the Grantham, NH dump in fully working condition -- needed to have the controls cleaned, of course. I use it with the R200s for music (2-channel), and I also have been using the preamp section more than occasionally as an active preamp with the "Simple 2A3" amplifier and the Frankenaltecs. :)

This photo's kind of past its "use by" date, but this was the air temp last Saturday morning...

Of course, it was very windy, too -- but I wasn't able to document the wind chill. :/

That very same model Yamaha powered my first serious HT setup - along with Polk LS70/CS350/LSFX and Pioneer S1 LD player. I used it for years after ward in the garage until the movers lost the remote in one of our moves. Awesome receiver.
