I just think Chinooks are cool I guess. No, there's nothing special about it.

That looks like a late 40's, early 50's carrier.
    That plane doesn't. 🤔
And what's on the wing tips ? 😳

Any story behind the pic ?

This was the original pic. An F2A-3 (Buffalo fighter) of VMF-211 (3rd Marine Aircraft Wing group) on CVE-1 (USS Long Island), bad landing, 2 July 1942. Per wiki, CVE-1 was lead ship of her class and the first escort carrier of the United States Navy.

Is he stealing a bong? 😂

I'm sure it's a candlestick because people still have those these days. I'd rather picture her husband getting stoned & playing the accordion.

Snow tires are out. Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus this summer. Wanted Michelin Pilot Sport AS4s but they were sold out everywhere.

    we9q97sojbqn.jpg

Just received my Consumer's Repot magazine and they posted their 3 favorite tires for different categories.

The Michelin Pilot Sport ranked highest overall. :pB)
They must be some SPECIAL tires for sure. 222.00 each.

I'm a Michelin fan now after getting some for my F150 and Camry. My wife's car will get some too when
    it's time.

I see you bought their 2nd choice for super quiet ride. That's a category I think is important too.

We've looked at CR magazines for 30 years. I just tossed a ton of them in the trash when I downsized. I kept a few of their yearly books mainly for used car histories. But with the prices of used cars with 100K+ miles on them now, I'll stick with my 100K+ Camry with a recent rebuilt motor and trans. ;)

    Great choices you picked. :)
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Looks like an NAD tuner, Hafler amplifier, ARC preamp and amp, Tandberg cassette deck and Oracle turntable all good gear. That might be an Infinity Servo control component, in the middle, for the Servo Static speakers.
