That is nice. I gave my Omega to my Dad, miss that weight.

I’m all for light, but titanium scratches and dings so easily. That’s part of the reason I don’t have one.Joey's Gear:

Haha
I would love to, but with my recent audio expenditures I would be a fool to spend all that money in a months and a half’s time. Need to regenerate.Joey's Gear:

Speaking of watches, I recently got a favorite Invicta of mine out to wear as it's been a couple of years since I have worn it.
Well, the battery in it was dead. It takes a 370/371 battery so I thought no problem I'll just run up to Walmart and pick one up like I've done in the past. Turns out all 3 of the local Walmart stores within 20 miles of me have drastically downsized their jewelry departments and two of them no longer even have a counter/register. Needless to say none of them had one. They do carry a few different size coin batteries in their storefront display but not what I needed.
While I was at the local mall on Thursday I checked with 2 different jewelry stores for a battery. The first one is currently having a going out of business sale and had zero batteries left in stock. The second store had what I needed. I asked them how much do they charge for it and they said $20. I proceeded to tell them I can get a Duracell on Amazon for $4.99 and I'll just go that route. They said I don't blame you I'd do the same."Life is one grand, sweet song, so start the music." ~ Ronald Reagan
“I love songs about horses, railroads, land, Judgment Day, family, hard times, whiskey, courtship, marriage, adultery, separation, murder, war, prison, rambling, damnation, home, salvation, death, pride, humor, piety, rebellion, patriotism, larceny, determination, tragedy, rowdiness, heartbreak and love. And Mother. And God.” ~ Johnny Cash -
Walgreen's, CVS have a large selection of batteries."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

Hmm, I didn't think of that. I did check Target as well with no luck. Oh well, I placed an order from Amazon yesterday for a few things and the battery is on the order."Life is one grand, sweet song, so start the music." ~ Ronald Reagan

Walgreen's, CVS have a large selection of batteries.
As does Menards if you have one in your area. They even had that tiny AAAA like battery for a Dared remote. Our Menards has a very large selection of coin like batteries. -
Looking for my next piece.
So far, I have been eyeing two watches.
Omega Planet Ocean 43.5mm in black with orange numbers (orange being the last color you see before either you pass out or get too deep when diving, or so they say).
And the other was the Rolex Rootbeer in all rose gold.
Nothing set yet, but I would like to acquire this before my 40th birthday which is in a couple years.
Omega:
Rolex (you can see my stainless GMT in the field of pic):
Sorry to dig up the past, but you've got to do the Rootbeer if you can! That bezel color with the rose gold is amazing. Though I have to say, that personally I prefer the two-tone model. But you can't go wrong with either. Do it, do it, do it!!! lolHT
Mits WD-65737, DirecTV, Oppo DV-970HD, XBOX ONE, Yamaha RX-A1030, Parasound Halo A23, Rotel RB-985, Music Hall MMF-7, Parasound PPH-100, LSi-15, LSi-C, LSi-FX, LSi-7, PSW-1000, Monster HTS2600
2 CH
Parasound Halo P3, Parasound Halo A21, Sutherland Ph.D, VPI Classic 3 w/ 3D arm & Soundsmith Aida Cartridge, Arcam CD72T, B&W 802 S3, Monster HTS2500, -

Rootbeer in all gold is my next grail. Just need to heal and regenerate. My hope is before I turn 40.
