3 way speaker with two 4" midrange drivers. One 1" soft dome tweeter. One 8" side firing woofer, powered by a 150w amp. 8 ohm, 91db sens. They dig pretty deep and overall, have a nice balanced sound. The low end can get flabby when played extremely loud, but I don't crank it up much anymore.

That was a brief experiment to see if I'd like the extra lighting. They were old under cabinet lights left over from the kitchen remodel that I hated to toss out. It was a bit too much I thought so they came out.

Could you not use a 12v step down transformer from a doorbell kit and add in blue LED's strategically placed to achieve the same thing? You could always add a resistor/pot to lessen the brightness. It does look bright there but I like the effect.

    Thinking of doing this myself.

Yes you could do that. I use a 12 volt dc variable transformer and run it low like 8 or 9 volts on 12 volt strip leds for my tt underlights.

Couple month(s) ago, not sure exactly when. More than one less than three.

Maybe I missed the explanation but I gotta ask, why are there two TVs?

My guess is the old one that is attached to the entertainment center failed.

A new one was purchased and just put into place temporarily in front of it, in lieu of taking the other one of the mount and then mounting the new one.

The Panny plasma hasn't failed. Never had a moment of trouble with it. I got the Hisense 4K TV and needed to make sure it worked but the plasma is too heavy for me or the Mrs to lift off the rack by ourselves. The picture on the 4K TV is pretty darn good so we left it connected. We just need to hire someone to help us swap the TV's and then I can sell the Panny on Craigslist. IfWhen we move again, the Panny can't come with us, it's just too heavy to manage on our own and professional movers cost way too much $$$$

I'm currently auditioning the Triangle Borea BR03 speakers, just in case you didn't see it in the "What did you do to your stereo rig today" thread.

Mardi Gras is today and we have the country's 2nd largest parade/celebration just a block in front of/behind/ around our apartment. It is absolute pandemonium for the next 24 hours. If we can make it through those, 3 years in a row, other guests are easy!

Besides, Russ has been here before and is always welcome :)

At first I thought that the rectangle up front was a sort of diffuser or absorber, then I looked closely and it looked like a tv
