Nah, wasn't me, I saw that I was interested though....never made it...had to have been a good time!!

You're welcome to come by here and check out the sounds and sights at Casa de Geoff :)

I've had @ken brydson over and trying to get him over again....maybe the two of you could make it over one of these weekends!!

Thanks for the invite! I'll probably take you up on that - and the offer is mutual It's always a pleasure to meet other enthusiasts, talk shop, and share ideas about our systems and setups to make them even better. That's how I met my friend Kris about five years ago, via AVS...

I'll send you a PM about meshing schedules - the rest of this month is busy but maybe there's a Nov weekend that might work for all three of us?

"Casa de Geoff" - I like it! I've occasionally referred to my system as the "Springbrook Cinema and Alehouse" since I live in that area of Renton... :)

^^^Nice amp. I used to have one.

I'm trying to continue to ignore that those 707's are priced that low and I don't need them. I want the 706's at a ridiculously low price.

Om trying my best to resist the temptation....

First time in over 20 years I even thought about ordering new speakers but I finally did it, placed my order for the LSiM707’s as well as the LSiM706C. They should be in sometime this week and I can’t wait.

^^ This. After my initial listening session during break-in and watching "Yesterday" last weekend in the media room, it's tempting to buy another pair for my dedicated two-channel system to replace my Wharfedale EM99s..

WOW - I had RTi70s until mid-2010, then I upgraded those to the RTiA7s. Your 707s will be a helluva upgrade...

worst thing about this sale....i bought the 707's and 706c, but i have nothing to run them with (avr or amp) so they are beautiful paperweights...probably for a few more months. Just hope they arent damaged somehow on the inside cause i have no way to tell haha

Pick-up something cheap on Craigslist to at least run them at low volume. There have been enough QC issues that I wouldn't feel comfortable waiting months.

Honestly if you're in a decent sized market you can probably find an older non-hdmi beast of a receiver for a $100 or less.

This for instance has a pretty stout power supply. Run optical out of your TV and you'll actually get pretty darn good SQ especially considering the $$$:
