Congratulations on retirement. I just completed my 1st year of retirement. The funny thing is I still get up at the ridiculously early time of 4 am like when I worked and am still in bed by 8pm. I am a lot healthier and feel so much better than when I was working. And best of all, because of the stock market performance this past year I have more money now than when I retired!

Thanks. I will find out how my body handles having no schedule. Currently, it is 3:34 AM and still not really tired. If I had to work today I would have been in bed by 11:30 PM last night, and without having any beer last night. :)

Many Congrats!!! Welcome to the World of Procrastination, because now there is always tomorrow :p Nothing seems as 'pressing' as it was when I was working.

The only downside to retirement is that, Time Flies! Hold on ;)

Good for you!! Keep on playing to stay young. I've always liked the poster in my doctor's office that reads"We don't stop playing because we got old, we get old if we stop playing."...or something like that. After the transition period I hope you find the things that give you the most enjoyment while you are playing.

It seems almost weekly somebody I "know" is retiring. I have 41 months until I hang it up....or sooner. I don't want to wish my life away but it would be nice if it was only 1 month. I envy all you retirees.
Yep, my name really is Bob.

Congrats! That’s awesome you were able to work until 70. God willing I’ll work as long too. Only a little more than thirty years to go for me.

    Enjoy retirement!
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
