    I think those are 2B if I am not mistaken. Pin/Blade IC and I thought the 2A was only made in the same enclosure as the 2B studio minus the black vinyl.

    I could always be wrong though, either way great price.

    you are correct SDA2A is Blade/blade. SDA2a NEVER looked like the 2b. SDA2b studio only came in black vinyl.

    As I 'finally' move forward with upgrades for my 2.3TL's, CRS+s, and a pair of SDA 1C's... I'm trying to decide the fate of my 2 pair of SDA2's. One pair may go to my son, so that leaves at least 1 pair up for sale. No mods have been performed, are in original condition, and appearance is fine. I'm in the Seattle/Bellevue area ... what's a fair price for these vintage speakers? Anyone interested in the 'Pacific Northwet' area?

    I stand corrected !! Well I had NEVER seen them EVER in wood grain vinyl. I was fairly certain I had read that they only came in black in studio.

    Never had a listen, but they are unobtainium, using similar passives as the 3.1s

    I did a bit of research on them, and they sound like nice speakers, but a lot of people seem to think that they are boomy. Better placement needed, perhaps? :smile:
