    stating he has everything to rebuild the crossovers and other items and today would sell for $400.00. I haven't talked to him and I don't have the room but he stated he's painted the cabs and removed the endcaps etc and filled the holes. Might be a fun project for someone.

    lame. I've seen that ad out there for awhile. Never had a chance to check them out but figured he would end up coming down or just keep them seeing he started at like $700-$800 a couple months ago.

    Hopefully you can hear back from him and snag them up. Would be a fun project.

    The 2.3TL pair is mine. I would be very pleased if a forum member were to become the next owner. BTW, two mids were replaced with fine vintage units sourced from forum member Gordon W. I love the speakers but I'm embarking on an epic restoration of a pair of Dayton Wright Electrostatics!

    I know this is late, but I saw those in person. Horrible condition.... $1200.00 is insane.

    SDA 2 in Albuquerque-$450 OBO. These have the dimensional tweeters (SL-1000). Price is a bit high, but they are rare in this neck of the woods.

    I'm in the Seattle area... and after years of satisfied use... I have 2 pair of 1st gen SDA2's for sale. Since joining this forum a few years back... I've purchased 2pr of SDA1C's, 1pr of CRS+'s, and 1pr of the bigger bogies - SRS-2.1TL's... making my initial speakers I purchased back in the day (1980's/early 90's) rather redundant to say the least...

    Any interested parties? I'll have to refresh my inventory of parts, but I think I have upgraded tweeters for at least 1 pair, if not both. Also can send along Hurricane nuts as well. (No Larry Rings) No other hardware/crossover/cabinet upgrades made.

    Haven't gotten pics or a write up to post in the classifieds yet... slow to let these go... they've served me well.

    I saw those & I think they are James's. He has bought alot of gear off me. I have owned the 1c SDA's & moved on. I'm in the market soon for new speakers. But going new. Haven't decided weather to go big B&W's or the new L800. I have enough gear in storage to help on the budget... That is a good deal tho.

    I'm still kinda shocked the Crs+ with stock stands hasn't sold. Listed for 300.00 for months. If anyone wants them & works with Joe (seller on Clist Maine) you might get em for less. I can pick them up & ship. I go to right by his house weekly & sometimes stop there for coffee. I can check them over & report back if needed. I can glue all magnets & box em up & ship at your expense. I would need to get packing material. Only for CP members that contribute EDIT : PM me if interested

    I was at Joe's a couple weeks ago & I literally walked right pass those stands. Didnt even look at em lol. I may even saw the speakers. They look to be Polk stock stands ??? Joe has a ton of gear. So I always seem to get lost looking at old receivers & speakers. Great guy to deal with
