    Dune. :#

    Both versions.

I've tried a few times to keep watching them and just can't stay with it. Maybe if we had read the book or books, it would make more sense to us.

I worked with a lot of guys who thought Lord of the Rings trilogy was nonsense and couldn't last 5 min. . I thought the first 3 were pretty darn good EVEN THOUGH they didn't follow the books chronologically for some reason. Only a minor glitch though.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I don't think I've watched a movie, beginning to end, that I thought was stupider nor more of a letdown than the original Alien. Just a silly movie, from my perspective. I liked seeing Sigourney Weaver in her underwear, though -- chasing a cat...?!

And the thing burstin' outta the guy's chest was pretty entertaining.

    Otherwise, snoresville.

Say what you will, but I can't stand The Godfather. Even with a great cast, it just comes across as tired and slow. I much prefer Goodfellas, or even better, Casino, if I want a mob fix.

Showgirls, and it's not even close. Went for the titillation, ended up looking at the floor between my feet for the last 20 minutes or so. Two of my friends went out for a smoke and never came back. Only time of my life I wish I had taken up smoking.

    A horrible movie.

The first one (by which I mean the fourth one, I guess, i.e., 1977's) was OK.

At least the first "Human Centipede" had that cool house in it. :p The second was shot in a skeezy warehouse. That POS was unbearable. I scanned through it after watching for 20-30 minutes. And I never bothered with the third one. HAHAHA

So -- I heard an interview yesterday, drivin' down to Boston, with the guy who made a
movie about the book about the making of this movie. The latter is purported to be one of those perversely good horrible movies... I must confess I'd never heard of it 'til yesterday, though.

    How 'bout y'all?

Do you think anyone will eventually write a book about the movie that's about a book about making the movie?

I think Sheryl Crow did, didn't she? ;)

This is the movie of the screenplay
Of the book about a girl who meets a junkie.

We can't be certain who the villians are 'cause everyone's so pretty

( :( the music video doesn't start with the cool analog "rockin' the tape" cueing effect that the album cut exhibits)

So you're saying that "Troll" is actually worse than "Troll 2"!?!? Wow, that takes serious talent to make the first movie worse than the second. I don't remember seeing either one, by the way.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

The "sequel" called "Troll 2" (although totally unrelated to the original "Troll") is so bad, there is a documentary film about the cult following it has as the worst movie ever. :p
