Warmer and somewhat fuller is what came to mind. I'm sure he's broken them in by now, but I've yet to hear them again since the day he got them. And... I only heard his powered by a receiver. I really liked the sound and would love to replace mine with them, if I had some free cash.
We're just gonna have to see and hear these in our own homes. Hint, hint.
I wish but not today, I would have put up with the wrath of the wife if these were in stock in Walnut. it would have been Visa time.
How did they compare to your RTi's?
Much smoother and not as bright. I've only got to hear them @ Polk thanks to @D2Lo. I do wish I could have spent more time in the room with them but we all had to get back to work.
Have not sold my receiver yet so funds are light, I do have a few for profit woodworking projects coming up and nice weather do get it done. I can't wait to get a pair but I can't put them on the CC not after the drumming i gave her for getting a new bag that was "on sale"

Hi guys- Newbie here and interested in the Signature series. I have a Denon AVR-s720 7.2 receiver rated at 75W per channel (8ohm, 20Hz-20kHz,THD:0.08% 2 channel driven). How well will the receiver drive the signature series speakers? Will I run any risk of clipping? I'm thinking of starting off in a 3.1 setup and maybe upgrade to 5.1 in the future.
Right now, I'm thinking buying a pair of either S-20 or S-15 bookshelf speakers plus an S-35 center channel speaker.
Will my receiver handle the requirements for these speakers or will I need to upgrade my amp?

now for the 7-10 day wait. bummer they don't drop ship from Polk. I would have them by Thursday, Adorama said they ship from NY. Polk is right around the corner in Vista.
S60 will replace my RTi8
S30 will replace my CSi-5
S20 will replace my RTi4 in the bedroom HT
Which would my best choice for center S30, TSX250C, CSI-3 or CSI5? I am going to start with the S30 as center for the S60 and the TSX250C as the center for the S20.
any other config thoughts?

Would it be possible to get images like this of each speaker in Polks current line (including the LSiM's).
It might be helpful going forward when folks are debating between floorstanding models and looking to see how they differ internally (if at all)

I dont disagree with you, however folks talk often about things like how the LSiM 707's midrange section is not the same as the LSiM 703's due to the differences in internal space available to the midrange driver, and how that affects the sound ever so slightly.
Being able to discern that via pictures and not have to dive deep into a forum might be nice.
