Seems good to me, but I would offer 6 bones and go from there. never heard a pair, but they do seem to be a decent speaker.
+1 $300.00 a pair is a good price on a pair of LS90's . $600.00 for two pairs is ok, but see if he'll take $550.00.

For a 12 pack of good beer anyone can have a pair of SDA-2 speakers. They work fine, but the side panels warped off, and the cloth came off. A little TLC will bring them up to speed.

hey I bought the Polk Audio SDA-SRS 3.1TL pair and they are fantastic.

the tweeters look upgraded as they are black domed. they also came with 5 extra drivers: 4 new mw6503s drivers and I think one mw6511. have not inspected them all yet as I just got home. had to spend the night in a hotel due to road work and ferry schedules but they are well worth it. .

have not opened them up yet. but they look mint and upgraded?
one of the speaker binding posts is broken, 4 of the mids have pushed in domes and there is a stain one of the top plates but they are in amazing shape.

nbrowser your post tipped me off. I have been looking on craigslist seattle but these did not show up...
    so THANKS a million.

I have a DH200 and a DH200 need a little more power but that comes later.
need to redo all my electronics and have not integrated a sub into the mix yet.
the bass is pretty good as it is. the listening room is my garage at 30 by 50 with a 16ft ceiling so is huge. am also still playing with placement.
last night I replaced one of the old mw6503 drivers with a new 2013 one.
I found no mods inside the cabinet which is well braced as mentioned.

Look good, think they might be a little high though. Either that or I stole mine for 150......

Depends on condition. There's a pair near Boston going for more, and not as nice.

Fer $80 I can get a pair of somewhat minty mismatched tweeter RTA-11TLs...and one contains a SL 2000...ugh lol

That's a great deal! Put them in the bedroom and sell the Monitor 5's to fund a pair of RDO-198's.

SDA SRS in the twin cities area. Looks to be about two hours away. He says he will deliver to the twin cities in original boxes. He bought them new. j0qf99hh1jap.jpg

Twice what I paid for mine. But with the eight new upgrade tweeters I bought for mine. Fifteen would be my price too. I am keeping mine forever! Have a safe Fourth of July weekend. Peace. D

You mean immaculate boxes for speakers decades old don't give you that same feeling?

Seeing them in a dirty garage or outside makes me gag.
