The later versions have improved crossovers that help eliminate the issues of running side by side midwoofers, they are mirror imaged with a left and right speaker that can only be placed in the left and right positions. ^^I I paid $140.00 for a pair in excellent condition with stands. I turned around and spent another $250.00 rebuilding the crossovers with Sonic Caps and the newer tweeters. Mine are the series II so I could use the RD0-198 tweeter. So now I have $500.00 in a pair of $140.00 speakers...lol, but they sound really nice.The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
